The Things That Make You Cry

The ending of the Futurama episode "Jurassic Bark".

I cried when I graduated from high school and felt like I'd never see anyone again.

I cried when my grandmother died. Not at the funeral, but when she actually died.

I cried buckets when my ex broke up with me.

I cry in movie's relatively easily. Some movie scenes that get me wet-eyed:

- the end of The Green Mile
- the destruction of Hometree in Avatar
- Gandalf's monologue about the "far green country" (meaning the afterlife) in The Return of the King
- Padme's death/Vader's birth in The Revenge of the Sith
- the end of Deep Impact
- the beginning of the new Star Trek

The parable of the prodigal son, and others.
The poem "El Brindis del Bohemio"
Some movies, like: The begining of UP, the end of Ratatouille (the critic flashback), When Jesus forgives the theft in "The Passion". Some songs.

I cried at this too.

Pretty much any sad sentimental movie, but not Titanic.

I'm one of those odd people that also cry when they're angry.

-A few songs.

Not having a woman in my life.
That song called Runaway Train.
Praying Mantis.
Being a virgin.
Valentine's Day
Umm....ummm...knowing that family and my cats will one day die.
When a fav tv show gets cancelled. Which reminds me, go to Hell Fox for cancelling New Amsterdam. :cmad::cmad::cmad:

When I do long division and I get a remainder.

Nice Simpsons quote.

I dont cry but I feel upset when watching something on TV about massive human suffering, ie the Holocaust, etc.

Anyone who didn't cry at that clearly has no soul :csad:

Oh yea... that was intense

I almost cried at the beginning of UP

i got teary eyed at that montage in Up. it was beautifully done

Most recently, it was this past Tuesday when I got to watch the ending of Wrestlemania 26. Undertaker/Shawn Michaels had me more emotionally invested than any match in recent memory. When Taker hit the final Tombstone, and I realized that I would probably never see another Michaels match, I started to cry pretty heavy.

Time before that was my week I got to spend at home before I got deployed here. Everyone in my family was telling me how great it was... except my Grandma. She just really didn't want me to go. She broke down when I was leaving, but I managed to hold it together until I got away from the house. That's one of the hardest cries I've ever had.

I'm not Jewish and no one in my family was involved in Word War 2 but the movie schindler's list made me cry.

The Johnny Cash version of Hurt is like the soundtrack to man tears

Yeah, I was like that when I was in the 5th grade as well.

I have had my tear ducts surgically removed to prevent any unnecessary crying. I'm considering doing the same for my large intestine to prevent unnecessary bathroom stints. The more I can streamline my bodily functions... the sooner I will be able to do what I really want to do in this world. Which is start a sweat shop specializing in prosthetic vaginas.

When Max is on the boat at the end of Where The Wild Things Are, I was bawling.

I also have this thing about sports movies, for some reason I cry during a lot of them when they're all triumphant at the end: Miracle, Remember The Titans, etc.

Honestly, I haven't cried in a good few years. Maybe had tears dribble down my cheeks from anger or laughing too much, but that doesn't count does it?

Even when i broke up with my girlfriend the other week i didn't cry or anything. I think i'm dead inside to be honest.

Even though I'm a guy, I literally cannot watch this scene without tearing, it is straight impossible for me.
