I only hate the armoring up because its ugly. If it was cool looking armor I'd be all over it but as it stands horrible.

I actually thought Mum-ra's Armor looked cool....but Leo's looked ugly.

It would be cool if they had one stone from the SilverHawks world...and the other from the TigerShark world.

i thought thats what they were

Im guessing that Leo and Cree Summer didnt last once they landed on third earth since there doesnt seem to be cross mingling in cat species in the royal line.

I also will find it a little hard to believe that someone across third earth doesnt have control over one of the other 3 stones.

Loved the cameos of Monstar and the Tigersharks, pretty awesome stuff, seeing the origin of the sword and the effects of the other stones was Sweet, I love where this is headed and I can't wait to get there!!!:awesome::up:

I enjoyed Legacy as it was a good followup to Journey To The Temple of Omens. Now we know that the Tigersharks and Silverhawks occupy the same universe as the Thundercats. The action between Lion-O/ Leo and Mumm-Ra was awesome with the armor power-up. It looks like the Book of Omens arc was the start instead of the end. The first 7-8 episodes felt like a live-action movie.

The past history between the Thundercats and Mumm-Ra could be a good prologue to a live-action Thundercats movie. :super:

'Catch a tiger by the tail...oooooo, the Tigersharks!' Loved this
episode. Monstar and Tigersharks were a great Easter eggs.

Interesting episode. This show started out awesome, then got a little iffy, but it seems to be hitting it's stride now. For me it felt like the last few episodes were missing something but things are coming together now. I really dig the ancestor stuff and other 80s toon tie-ins. :woot:  I hope we learn more about Tygra or Cheetara soon.

And hopefully there won't be any more Snap-On Light Up Action Armor Leo.

Mumm-Ra lost his third before he armored up. So Mumm-Ra had two and Lion-O had two.

We saw MonStarr on the screen. I don't think it is a coincidence that the armor power is not unlike how MonStarr was able to transform with his moonstone.

This show is more ambitious than Beast Wars. Instead of trying to rectify classic Transformers G1 continuity . . . new Thundercats is making new continuity that ties together Thundercats, TigerSharks, and SilverHawks. ****ING AWESOME!

And now with this episode all my expectations have been wiped clean. If they can go this far, who knows what else we will see later?

Very good episode. It was good to see the rebellion against mum-ra, but GREAT to see the sword of omens getting forged. That was a geekgasm right there.

Though I want to know more of how the 'alliance' started, where did the cats come from originally (thundera the planet?) and more backstory on the crystals (is the eye of thundera - war stone - the most powerful of the stones?).

All in all, good backstory. But now want to know MORE :-D.... GIVE ME MORE HISTORY lol

Loving this show so far. Surpasses the original in many many ways.

so the thundercats now have an infinity gauntlet. i guess the eye of thundera isn't so special. maybe the others are to the other races what the eye is to the cats. so this is how lion-o will meet up with the other races. each race probably holds the other stones. as he unites the races he will be given their stone and unite the stones as well. mcguffin here we come.

yeah i remember the creators saying dont be surprised to see the TigerSharks or the SilverHawks, had no idea wed see hints of both so soon tho. and like you said they seem to part of the shows continuity. if my 10 year old self could have seen this ep i wouldnt be posting this....cus i would have died from all the awesomeness. lol. i was a HUGE fan off all three of those shows.

Seems pretty special to me. It was kicking the ass of all the other ones by itself.

The War Stone appeared to be the most powerful or sought after. It was one of the most fortified ones or that is how it appeared at least.

Loving the show. I just feel like this and last ep were rushed. Even my young son told me that.

Last night was epic. I kinda wished it was a movie. But everything happened so fast. But yeah, really liking the mythology.

Great episode - even though I missed the first few minutes due to having fallen asleep. The Mon-Star cameo makes me wish someone would reboot Silverhawks with this much gusto, but sadly that show does rank as highly in the ranks of 80s nostalgia.

oh christ, that episode was ***ing awesome, if this show manages to hit the ambitions its setting out for itself and has a long enough run, it might superseeed it's original and THAT IS A BOLD STATEMENT.

the writers have built up a very rich history here, i could happily watch a season on the cat's allaince to mum-ra, mum-ra's rise the power, the dissolution of equality on third earth,

the rise and fall of leo would also be interesting.

christ, a four stone power up is on the cards, although i see lion-o and the entire animal kingdom going at mum-ra with a four stone combo.

i also want silverhawk and tigershark four stone armour combos DAMMIT!!!

I wonder if theyll show an ep dedicated to the first Thundercats...unless those guys dont exist in this universe?

Would be pretty odd that these Thundercats share the same names and looks.

This makes me wonder then, who the natives on 3rd Earth were before the animals arrived.

I suspect it was some strange species of chattering, hairless apes, that will figure heavily into a future plot arc of this show.

Yeah that's Ivan Drago, but the still is from 1987's "Masters of the Universe" where Iv- ahem, Dolph Lundgren played He-Man.

bah taking he-man and making him lion-o

like taking dracula and making twilight

please note this si all in fun i'm just more of MOTU fan

Was anyone else expecting the caption "COMING SOON TO YOUR LOCAL TOYS R US" to pop up during the battle?

haha yeah as soon as I saw Leo transform I shouted out Toy Commercial lol.

In any case Whiskers this show is AWESOME the wait for them to reboot this series was more than worth it.
