Wow amazing. Looks like this show will be a spiritual successor of Avatar despite being a remake of an 80's cartoon.

I feel a little better about it than I did before. I like the animation style they have going on and the person voicing Tygra sounds a lot like the guy who use to voice him.

I like what they are doing here. The characters and plots are a little more involved. It's a little more cinematic. I'm almost a little glad a live action or CG movie was never made because I feel the TV format will really let things open up more.

Looks great. You could kind of say the original with obvious modifications could be a prequel. And nice seeing "dogs" in there and funny they would be at the bottom of the food chain in Thundera.

So this version of Lion-o is a sympathizer to the mutants and wants to make peace with, and he is very diplomatic now too in a way. The term Thundercats is now some a legendary group of heroes like the Argonauts or Spartan Soldiers.

That's kind of what I was thinking. I wonder if they'll try to bridge the two series down the road, granted it gets renewed and all that. I know this is a reboot, but it'd be a nice way to try and preserve the entire run and canon.

Anyway, I noticed that Kit and Kat were roughly the same age as the original show, or at least seemed to be. In the promo stuff, didn't they look younger? Almost like baby age or something? Seems like I remember that.

I watched that leaked footage and I have to say it was pretty darn good. I would really like to see Lion-O grow larger as time goes on in the show. I really don't like Lion-O and Tigra being brothers. They aren't even the same species but Tigra is so awesome I will just have to ignore it.

Other than that I think this show might be quite enjoyable. The animation looks solid as does the story.

Panthro isnt part of Thundera anymore I believe. I think he left to explore the world outside the kingdom. Thus he will show probably after Thundera bites the dust.
