What's wrong with it? As another poster mentioned, they're brothers!

Oh and its "Raph" NOT "Ralphy"...and "Don" NOT "Donnie" and the only reason they call Mike, "Mikey" is b/c he's the youngest and its kinda like a pet name.

Well, I know that there will be skateboards and this movie will be some kind of vague sequel to TMNT2 (movie).

But as I can understand, this movie will be darker, more effective and more serious

Exactly, which is why it's not really necessary at all that the movie be mature in the serious sense, it needs to be mature in the sense that it's sharply written and tongue in cheek. Dark and edgy is fine, but it should be dark and edgy because it's making fun of the dark and edgy Miller style.

I would start all franchise again with the new beginning. That would be awesome, but I am fine with vague sequel also.

The main characters' stories started with them being doused in toxic chemicals. The main characters are ninjas. The main characters battle ninja clans trying to take control of the New York criminal underworld. Maybe I should rephrase. TMNT was origionally meant as a parody of Frank Miller's Daredevil.

It shouldn't be toung in cheek. TMNT comics never really were. It took itself rather seriously.

They weren't robots. They were just regular ninjas. And they were called The Foot because they were a parody of The Hand.

really impressed by the trailer. I'm surprised the story's supposed to continue off the two films (when there was a third) like Singer w/ SR. I'm cool with Shredder not returning, a new villain is definitely needed, a really badass one. Casey Jones returning... don't care. unless they make him the superb a-hole he usually is then it's cool either way. but the teaser was friggin sweet. I thought the whole thing was serious until I noticed Leo came down before Mike and then it was predictably cool that he'd swan dive his landing.

kinda surprised people are downin' the CGI. those costumes were getting worse with every passing film. and no point in doing a toon movie, that's what the show was for. I like this CGI direction and love the CGI itself. I think I'll actually see this now and bask in the nostalgia.
