WHOA!!! THOSE ARE AMAZING!! :wow:
did u make those?

I completley agree. Thats one of the things that makes him so relatable. It is also what makes him different than other superheroes.

Exactly, Spidermans regular guy tendencies are a cornerstone of the character.

He never stated he didn't want an emotional Pete, he just said it was done wrong. There's a difference there.

Then i'm soryy if i i misread it, but his post said having an emotional Peter was the wrong way to do it, i just disagree.

I'd say that was lack of reading and comprehension skill on his part but he'll deny it.

Are you gonna continue being an ******* or what? I dropped it, why cant you?

I have to disagree with this, if Peter isnt emotional then how do we connect to the character?

Watching Peter go through all of these things is how we connect to him, which makes the events of all 3 movies that much more involved and personal to us.

I would think it could have been done in another way,and if it was done right..perhaps it was done a bit too much. From what i have seen, most did not like it or could relate to it.

I'm glad you noticed.

I'm glad you're glad. :cwink:

And I agree to an extent, that certain emotional aspects of the series could be reworked, but overall, I thought that may of them were fitting to each story.

Well I related to it perfectly, especially the parts of Spiderman 2 were nothing seemed to be going right for him, i dont know about anyone else but i personally have gone through phases of my life that were like that so i could relate to it.

I enjoyed him being emotional also. At the end of day i think we just see this differently :oldrazz: .

I'm still hoping that Tobey returns for the next few Spider-Man films. He's done a great job as Peter Parker & Spider-Man & he shouldn't be recast since he's so good at portraying both characters.

I agree 100%! He's a great actor.

I think he is a great actor who has given a very strong and memorable interpretation of Peter Parker that at least in this decade would be hard to replace for general audiences....but I would not call him the perfect Peter Parker or nearly definitive. But a good interpretation that works, especially in the first one.

I think Tobey Maguire made an awesome Peter Parker, personally I hope he stays on for SM-4 but I wouldn't mind seeing new faces either. But right now, it's to early to worry about that.

He's a good actor, I believe the cast and crew will return for at least one more. And I'm watching Spider-Man 1 right now. Toby seriously doesn't look at all different from 1 than in 3!

I admire Tobey's ability to stay in shape for the movies & not turn into a hideous monster within a year's time (like Kirsten).

You think TMags stayed in good shape? No way, man. He was in great shape for sm1 but sm2 and 3, he was out of it. He may have been fit to do some of the stunts he had to do but in terms of physical appearance, he was completey out of it...but I'm not saying he was lardass though.

He was in shape but because he didn't have muscle definition (which you could only tell if you are a scrutinizing fanboy who obsesses over minute details) was not there when it was in the first two.

Oh no. :whatever:

The Japanese thing was weird and...well Japanese. Kind of funny to see the "real" Spidey meet the Japanese Spidey, but I don't think Tobey realized this guy used to have his show.

I only watched the first third of the Spidey 3 interview as this guy's humor is very British and does not gel with Maguire at all and Dunst, as always, seems bored. It was funny though to see this Brit somewhat knowing his Spidey lore and while messing up the details pulling out major points from ASM 99-101 and Maguire not knowing those details, because he probably hasn't read them since 2001. But talk about a bad interview.

EDIT: I finished the interview and it was entertaining and it was nice to see a guy who knew something about the comics interview them and it got better, but Kirsten still seemed bored. Hopefully she was talking about Bring it On and her other teen movies being ones she didn't care for that she had to promote and not htese movies. ;)
