so your happy that one of the most famous spidey villains had a screen time less than 10 min. and was killed too
He served his purpose as the darkness that took over Peter Parker, if Peter didn't destroy the darkness then the movie wouldn't of had a moral to the story

Moral of Spider-Man 3:

Overcome the darkness and Forgiveness

If venom lived then...

Moral Of Spider-Man 3:

Forgiveness

PLUS Eddie Brock served his point as Peter's foe and wanting revenge so if he served his purpose and kicked butt as Venom then it's pointless to let him continue on in the series.....

After watching the DVD I know know what I hated about the moive in theaters.

TOPHER GRACE!

God he sucks! I wasn't even playing Eddie, he was playing himself.

You know what I've always wondered. How good of shape did Topher actually get in? I mean, he looked like he was bigger than before he had started filming. Does anyone know? Does he ever talk about the training or anything?

Yeah, I completely just shifted focus. Sorry, but the arguing was getting a bit ridiculous.

He said he worked out for six months just to bulk up a bit.

He started, but was assured by Raimi that he could still play the role due to the existence of Ultimate Eddie Brock.

Grace gave the most entertaining performance of the movie.

Yup, I found him quite enjoyable in SM3 even as a Venomite (bleh, so throw tomatoes :D )

Topher really put alot of work into his portrayal as Eddie Brock/Venom. I love the amount of emotion he had, for example: the church scene. He was fantastic.

I loved his performance in the church scene. He made a great Venom too of course.

Topher Grace actually did a better job than I thought. The fact that he wasn't a bodybuilder wasn't a concern of mine so I basically payed attention to the performance in which Grace did a great job. On a scale of one to ten, I'd definitely give him an 8/10, only because we didn't see much of him. It would've been great if we could've at least gotten about 15-25 minutes of Grace as Venom. He was very witty & sarcastic which is something I always love to see in villains.

Why did Eddie Brock have messed up teeth when he was in the symbiote but after Peter pulled him out his teeth were back to normal? Did the symbiote temporarily disfigure him? This was a PG-13 movie so they could have given us a more graphic shape shifting/transformation scene between the transition from Eddie to Venom.

Eddie was a more malicious person than Peter, so he brought out the symbiote's more malicious tendencies.

Or, because that's how it has happened in the comics. Take your pick.

Venom served his purpose, but a little more of him wouldn't have hurt. In the final battle, he's taken out and not seen for 3 or 4 minutes. That has always bothered me because they could've have used some of that time to extend the one on one fight with Spidey that lasted all of 10 seconds.
