I hope they made his legs chunky for a reason. They should have it so that he has some powerful; like for speed and also for liftings things off of him.
 
It looks all right but I hope the elbow joint allows him more range than that, though I dont know why. I also wish the outfit was more savage and tattered than superhero style.
 
I just got all 5 of them today and I love them!!!!! Can't wait till Sandman And Green Goblin come out.
 
Sometimes I wish they would release the villans from the first episodes in the first wave of figures. These figures look good next to my X-Men Evolution stuff. They don't look to bad with my "The Batman" stuff also considering most of "The Batman" stuff is out of scale anyway so it wont really matter. I have always supported "The Batman" from the start and I plan to do the same with The Spectacular Spider-Man.
 
I went to TRU and the shelf space for SSM was setup and entirely empty. SO I GOT SOME MAD BALLS OF COURSE.
 
I just don't like that Spidey has too much line on his body, not really show accurate. But still I'm going to get a normal Spidey and Venom
 
has anyone noticed the differance between doc ocks face and the face on the packaging? Are they going to release an OCK with the snarled face? I hope so, it is much cooler.
 
yea i dont understand why there are two different versions of each character
 
im suprised a company is actually aloud to do that..straight up change the figures completely and not even bother to change the picture on the back of the package..they really just dont care.
 
thats why they are giving us happy meal toys...i understand the show is geared more toward kids but im sure they know by now everyone collects these dam things. Plus they said it themselves and even by watching the show you know they are trying to appeal to all fans...why not do the same with the toys. Well anyways I AM going to buy the venom figure. I have managed to purchase every other venom action that has ever been released so im not going to exclude this one just because it looks like it should come with a 4-piece nugget and a small fry

Haha...no they don't, they're not expecting grown ass men to be buying these figures for themselves, lol. :D

If you watch the promo trailer, you'll see he has a sort of a super jump, perhaps those legs are meant for jumping.
 
hell yes they do...nowhere near the kids demographic but they know dam well avid collectors will

look it cant be as bad as those horrible spiderman 3 figs they sold us last year horrible horrible figs.

Actually, you'd be surprised. Even though they were terribly out of scale with Toy Biz's releases (which was just a marketing move, IMO), the Spidey 3 toys offered better articulation for a lower price. The Spectacular toys are made for youngsters and slapped with a price tag for parents who don't care to pay $10 for one figure if it means keeping little Billy from throwing a tantrum on TRU's floor.
 
I dont know, venom looks weird to me, im so used to the venom from spiderman tas. This venom looks so plain. I hope they fix it up a little
