actually the toy venom is way off, its blue, has only 3 fingers, body porportions are all messed up, the clawed feet, and a few other little things.

Okay peeps, live in the UK and so haven't seen the new show yet. But I know when I do i'll love it! So i've bought some of the new figures.

I've got regular Spidey, Black Costume Spidey, Doc Ock (black tentacles), and unmasked Spidey/Zip line Spidey.

So I guess all I need is Venom and then i'll have the whole of wave one!

Yeah, but I still think the figure is very cool. However, the show version really is much better.

dude so what if he was freakin' purple, u could harldy tell in the movie not only that USM venom is purple
and so what if he wasn't huge in the movie. originaly he never was huge.
thats as dumb as saying the venom figure we have now for SSM sucks just because he is blue instead of black.

I just realizeed that.
and honestly the figure isn't that bad, however
I pefer the limited edition venom figure and the spider-Man trilogy figure

They had Sandman at Walmart the other day. Looked good in person. I still gotta pick up a Spidey. I'm just gonna wait til Wizard World cause on the last day of the convention there's always crazy deals and I could end up getting one for like $5.

yeah purple or not I still like my SM3 Venom figure.
but if it was up to me I wish they made a better version though.

only problem i had with the articulation on my figure is the arms. but the six inch figure has better articulation at least, and at least it's black

yeah I wish I had that Venom but with Star Wars Clone Wars coming out soon, I'm going to be keeping my money for Grievous stuff that comes out.

all I ever buy with my money is something Star Wars,Spider-man, or a video game.

Funny u think they would have waited on the toys untill the finalized looks were picked for the show instead of getting totally different looking toys from what the show looks like.

I was talking to "Cheecks" brother on flickr the other day, and he said that Sean had to actually redesign some of the characters because Hasbro complained about how they couldn't make some of them into toys.
