I'm still not convinced if Sarah Palin is a moron or faking it. I.e. faking being so extreme. I think she's faking it. I'm not saying she's secretly a genius or anything, but prior to the whole 2008 thing, she was generally a rational, moderate individual.

I'm still not convinced Trump is a moron. I think he's just clever at marketing himself to morons.

Is that too cynical?

Yeah, I find it baffling how much she has changed. I wouldn't call her moderate, a reason why she was chosen was because of her clear conservative credentials. But she was a very rational and sensible governor who just wasn't ready for the national spotlight.

Considering all the money he made by screwing over people and his abuse of bankruptcy laws, I'd have to say he just does a good job of appealing to the lowest common denominator.

Well, if he is faking and wins Ill be able to draw some pleasure from the moment his fanbase of morons realize he isnt right wing Jesus in a tupée come to make all their racist, homophobic, xenophobic dreams come true.

I don't think Trump is a moron.

I think he's George Wallace with a splash of reality television star.

I question if he believes half the things he says. But the fact that he says them is pretty ****ing disturbing.

Was George Wallace as racist as he claimed he was? Probably not. But the mere fact that he acted that way, just to get votes... now that's scary.

Some say she may have had a mental breakdown during the election. I just saw her Trump speech. That looks like brain damage to me. I'm not even being facetious. She seriously sounds like she's suffered a traumatic brain injury.

Something happened to this lady.

I think the same. I think Trump wanted to grow his brand in a yuge way and knew that he could throw out a handful of half assed, fear mongering speeches and get the uneducated, fearful masses to back him.

The thing that gets me about Trump and Trump supporters is they tout the fact that he doesn't have any big business or super wealthy corporate backers. What they don't get is that he IS a wealthy backer and he's backing himself for his own personal gain. He's cutting out the middle man, but somehow these supporters of his think that Donald Trump is just like them because he "tells it like it is?" How stupid can you be?

Trump is not an idiot. He knows how the game is played and has been doing it for decades. No such thing as bad publicity as you can see. For every one person that decries him, five more will say they love him.

I saw Trump tagged the Twitter page @whitegenocideTM today. Look it up if you'd like, I think it's a pretty good representative of his fan base.

Trump is pretty bright. The media is trying to bring him down while they can, but will shield the political dimwits on the Democratic side.

Here's one.

Joe Biden!

By all accounts, Biden wasn’t the world’s greatest student, but he made up for his academic shortcomings with sheer likability. Biden ranked 506th out of 688 students in the University of Delaware’s class of 1965, but a professor still recommended him for law school “on grounds of personality and general promise.” The future VP didn’t exactly turn on the jets once he got to law school, either. He finished 76th in his class of 85 students at Syracuse, and admitted to plagiarism in his first year of law school

Palin is a moron and outsider with few political connections outside of the media. No debate there. She's dangerously stupid, and possibly the biggest reason why McCain lost.

So, anyone hear about Trump's new ad? Two Corinthians is an idiot. :lmao:

Did you hear his excuse for saying it that way?

"Tony Perkins wrote that out for me -- he actually wrote out 2, he wrote out the number 2 Corinthians," Trump said. "I took exactly what Tony said, and I said, 'Well Tony has to know better than anybody.' "

Trump's pronunciation of the Bible verse drew laughter from the Christian audience -- but he downplayed it, saying his Scottish mother would have said "two Corinthians," as well.

What an idiot. Most people write 2 Corinthians. Any halfwit knows that a 2 prior to Corinthians means Second Corinthians and not Two Corinthians.

Its not even a big deal its just astonishing that he cant even admit a small mistake and just say, "I made a small mistake." Instead he blames another person and invokes his damn mother.

I get the impression Trump and Palin are playing to the gallery at this point.

I generally hate Jesus pandering by politicians but Trump's is so over the top it's hilarious

I wonder which one is Trump's favorite: the Old Testament, the New Testament, or the Yuuuuge Testament.

The entire Liberty University speech was one of the most desperate things I've seen a politician do. It's clear he was out of his depth and didn't have a leg to stand on with evangelicals. Pandering at it's best (and worst).

Donald Trump of all people suddenly pretending to be all religious is one of the most hilarious and most transparent bits of political posturing I've ever seen.

How gullible do you have to be?

Gullible enough to believe the Earth is 6000 years old and Jesus will come back when the Jews and Arabs have annihilated each other.
