his shirt is the only thing that makes him look like Roshi.
Looks like Roshi to me. . .
when i saw his picture, i immediately thought of roshi, and thats all i needed for roshi, his face doesn´t look like him, but i still see him there, obviously change his clothes and he is nothing like roshi
Roshi isn't the shirt... You should be able to recognize the character on his own, no matter what he wears. He doesn't wear hawaii shirts only. He wears different clothes like any other person. He's often seen wearing kung fu clothes like any other random martial artist. So if Chow decides to wear something else instead of his hawaii shirt, I guess he'd suddenly stop being Roshi for you. Because apparently the shirt is the only connection you can draw to his manga counterpart.
They're going for a more "realistic/modern" look for the film. You'll just have to accept it.
What's wrong with giving him a beard as well, it really isn't that much of a stretch is it?
i don't have to accept it. in fact, i'm going to do everything within my power to make sure that this movie doesn't get any of my money.

It's too unrealistic and not modern enough.
Realistic/modern look? What's so unrealistic about a bald head and some facial hair?

Once, I saw a guy who was both bald and bearded and figured he must be a real person from modern times, but then I found out he was just a cyborg from the future sent after Sarah Connor. Then I found out every bald, bearded man I had ever seen throughout my entire life was, in actuality, just a cyborg. For the sake of ridding ourselves of the confusion about bald and bearded men being realistic, Sarah Connor must be eliminated. It's too unrealistic and not modern enough.
no
if he acts like roshi, you can take away the shirt and he´ll still be roshi to me
with the shirt, not even seeing his acting i see roshi
i swear to got that MODS should start banning people when they start using the word ''realistic''.
damn you NOLAN. nolan says in two interviews that he is making a realistic batman movie. the movie makes some profit and now i need to read every day those realistic comments.
everytime with every movie there is a guy who will defend the movie e with the ''realistic''.
it is more realistic that roshi has hair and no beard. are you complete out of your mid? a bald guy with a beard is realistic. and bulma having blue hair would also be realistic. around hte world you have milions of people with red, green and blue hair.
batman wearing spendex with underwear is unrealistic. but a bald guy with a beard an a blue haired girl is normal for christ sake.
realistic and dragonball just don't mix. that's why we're getting a huge divide between the DB fans. it's like oil and water.
