The only possible Gotham resident who could beat Bats is Nightwing. That's my opinion, but still.

EDIT Ok technically he is now Bludhaven, but you know what I mean.
I didn't say she could beat him, I'm just saying she's my favorite Gothamite, with Bruce as a close second. Not everyone's obseesed with Batman, you know. :o:oldrazz:

That is why you fail.

I have a hard time putting Superman above Batman for Best DC Character. Then, stuff like The Dark Knight trailer come along and the decision becomes even more difficult.

That's what I meant, BL. I meant beat Bats in popularity.

I thought that would make it easier. :oldrazz:

Now, now, EBJ, I've met plenty of people who like other characters in Batman lore over the man himself.

They just haven't lived long. :ninja:

Now, regarding your application, BL, you're approved for Huntress... however, I want bring something forth and say that your reasons for picking a character need work. For all of your applications. It won't help your credibility in getting a character if you post "She's hawt!" or something similar as a reason for wanting to portray her. Try something deeper than that.

But that's just my advice. It nearly stopped me from approving you, but your sample was enough to tell me you won't screw up the character. However, it's just something you may want to keep in mind.
Thanks, MB. I just figured that going into all the details about why I like the Huntress as a character would be a little too time-consuming, considering I do have to help take care of my mom, who's cancer-free by the way, but still recovering. But I'll definately work on that now that I have a little more time to RP.

Well, I thought that would sound like I'm saying it makes it easier to rank Superman higher.
In terms of movies, Batman pwns all. No arguement. Only franchize I have no problems with. (I mean the new Batmans.)

As for Comics and TV show? Close call. (Depending on the years for comics.)

...there's only one. TDK doesn't count until it's out.

Except 'Forever' and 'and Robin'. They were crap. The first two though set the bar, which BB and TDK are doing well at surpassing.

Set the bar? B'89 is the only one really worth mentioning. Returns dropped the ball. Forever and B&R proved that movies can be so bad that you want to kill yourself.

BB set the bar. And no superhero movie (past or present) has met it.

I like Batman Returns. I thought it was good. Given, not as good as the first, but still good.

Devito's performance wasn't particularly terrible, given the fact that up until that point, The Penguin was little more than an unbrella obsessed jewel thief that had yet to be made into a class crimeboss. I applaud Burton's efforts to give him depth, even though he went a bit far with the black goo coming out of the character's mouth.

Problem? Burton spent all that time giving Penguin depth, while he essentially ignored the same courtesy for the title character. I, personally, didn't think there was any character development for Batman.

Plus, didn't Batman kill in BR? Not cool. :down

I believe he means that he's only talking about BB and TDK...and not the hideous series of the late 80's/early 90's.

That's what I meant. There's only one - Batman Begins. The Dark Knight isn't out yet, so it could still be *gasp* terrible.

So let me get this straight, when I say (I mean the new ones) I meant the ones from the 90's?

I don't mean to sound like ***** with this, but if I do, so be it. I do chose my words carefully...so be sure to read what I say. (This is directed to anyone who thought I was talking about the 90's movies. You know who you are.)

Hey, I said that you weren't talking about the 90's series, so don't look at me.
