As it stands, I'm going to be dropping Hal for a short time, in order to better achieve a crucial part of my plan with the rogues. In his place, until I take Hal back up within the next few posts...

.'ULTIMATE DC UNIVERSE' RPG Application.

Screenname: Master Bruce

Character You Would Like To Play: Ultimate Two-Face

Basic History Of The Character: A once crusading District Attorney for the Gotham City justice system, Harvey Dent became the subject of a mob hit when his home was bombed by the infamous Maroni brothers. His wife, Gilda, was killed in the blast, and Harvey himself was horrifically scarred on the left side of his face, unleashing a violent and paranoid schitzophrenia in the District Attorney. Murdering his would-be killer after Batman unintentionally helped him track him down, Dent has turned to a life of crime, recently teaming with The Joker and other dangerous Gotham psychotics in order to wage revenge on The Dark Knight.

Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character:

1. See above. I just don't feel comfortable continuing to bunny him like a fourth character, without The Joker being involved.

2. Two-Face is a great character, and my second favorite Bat-rogue.

3. If I didn't already have two characters heavily involved in the Batman mythos, I'd take Harvey up for far longer than the time I'm intending to. (Which, literally, will probably be less than a week)

What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person (IE: How are you 'utlimizing' him or her?): The ground work's been laid out for me. All I need to do is continue from there, and what I know about my favorite versions of the character.

Two Complete Sentences In Proper English Explaining What You Can Bring To This RPG (As A Player): The rogues arc has been, from what I've heard, well recieved, so I'd like to continue the quality of it. I also think I have a rather adept knowledge on, not just Two-Face, but the Batman universe in general.

What Fonts Do You Plan To Use For Your Character’s Speech? (Makes the roster look better): Two-Face, Harvey Dent

Approved.

I haven't read a lot of it yet, but I like your Gordon so far.

I have returned and done posts for The Atom & Giganta...I should have my awards up and ready sometime this week.

BL, you do know that Maxie Zeus has been established already?

Wait, wait...I got it this time.

Bastard Bruce strikes again!

Or at least he should've been the one, since Maxie is a Bat villain. :o

I dig the Zod/Brainiac frame-job, KK. That is so what Brainy woulda done, it makes me all warm and fuzzy inside....almost makes me wish I hadn't made him get cut in half and explode in the present.

Thanks, glad you liked it :), Soon I'll have the trial of Zod and then a few more posts to end the season with a cliffhanger.

Quick question, everyone. Who's currently locked up in Arkham? I know Ivy, Freeze, and Two-Face are still on the loose, and Joker's at the GCPD. What about everyone else?

The Monk is there, more than likely. Riddler, I believe, is locked up there. Though he hasn't been established yet, Mr. Zsasz is probably there under maximum security. Jervis Tetch, I imagine, would be there after being convicted for kidnapping (his first 'Alice'). And from Charle's Harleen posts, we already know that Arnold Wesker and The Calendar Man are in there.

That's about all I can think of.

And to answer your previous question, BL, yes, you probably should edit. Zues is a major part of one of my side-arcs, and he's currently running Wayne Enterprises after the board of directors removed Bruce as CEO.

Where did the Scarecrow wind up, if I may ask?

Venom160 had him break out and go into hiding, when he was playing him. I'm not entirely sure if he's still playing him, as he hasn't answered any of my PM's about the rogues arc.

He's in an apartment, I think, similar to the one he and his goons tried to torch in Batman Begins.

I'll edit it now. It'll be a big edit though.

I edited my last post so Monocle was buying his high-tech Monocles. I wanted to use Monocle as a villain in my next post, but I guess now is a better time to use him. Sorry for the mix-ups.

Aite, I'm done with Brother Blood for this Season. Whether I take him up next Season is not known at the moment as I said before.

Although, at least he is set up for future Seasons. He still has reason to reside in America so if (when they form) the Teen Titans or some other group of heroes want to use him, he's there.

Senseiofcheese? Thanks for the fight. It was enjoyable.

And that's my last Hawkman post for the season. To be f*****g continued, fools.

And thank you too, trusty. Great experience tussling with a veteran RP'er! Plus, you inspired me to plan on applying for Katar again next season and going forward with those plans I told you about. So thanks again.

Also, not that it's a shocker or anything, but I've obviously dropped Mirror Master. Just making it official.

Is this season close to wrapping up or is still time left in it?

I have reached a decent stopping point for the season with The Atom, but I would like for Lex and Giganta to meet so they can discuss her future with him and that should do it for her.

I'd like to know how much longer you guys are running. If you're finishing arcs now I'll wait till next season to post a character. I have a cool vision to bring in Cyborg (Superman). I plan to make him an evil type, but for the right reasons and humanise him a bit.

Should I post the character now or wait? If I am to wait, when does the season start?

I think the Season's wrapping up very soon, but it wouldn't hurt to make an application in advance, so you can start right away next season.

Character You Would Like To Play: Cyborg (Hank Henshaw)

Basic History Of The Character: Henshaw was a decorated Pilot during Desert Storm. He also flew many missions during the subsequent return to Iraq and Kuwait during Operation Enduring Freedom. It was during a dogfight over Iraq that Henshaw’s F/A18 Hornet was shot down. Found alive, but in need of severe medical treatment Henshaw was taken back to the United States where he eagerly signed up for Project Cadmus.

While at the Cadmus Project, Henshaw’s body was rebuilt using bionic parts. The bionics used to replace the eyes, arms and legs of Henshaw along with the genetic manipulation from the Cadmus scientists allowed Henshaw to develop “superhuman powers” along the lines of Superman. Unknown to Henshaw, the goal of Project Cadmus was to create a superhuman on par with Superman should they ever need to eliminate him. The psycho-indoctrination portion of the program has given Henshaw a complete hatred of the man of Steel, which ironically he has never met. Henshaw believes that if Superman did not exist he would have been allowed to die instead of become the cybernetic construct he is today.

Henshaw eyes have been replaced with constructs which allow for high heat lasers (heat vision), vision in infra red, ultra violet, and lowlight conditions, micro and macro-vision allowing him to see anything from a microscopic organism to Saturn with only his eyes, as well and the ability to x-ray an object just by looking at it. His arms and legs allow for up to 4 tons to be lifted by his frame, which is in turn supported in the organic sections of his body by a reinforced skeletal structure. These adaptations also give Henshaw the ability to travel up to mach two on land. Henshaws hands have various uplinks hidden in them to allow him to uplink to any electronic interface and download, upload or simply work on that particular system. He has become very adept a using these interfaces effortlessly. One side effect of the genetic manipulation given to Henshaw allowed him the gift of telekinesis. This power is however limited to his own body. He is able to fly as Superman would as uses the power regularly as a mode of transportation.

Since his activation as an agent of Project Cadmus, Henshaw has been given the designation Cyborg. He was offered a team of elites, but turned down the offer. Instead Henshaw uses his Manhunters Squad comprised of robotic duplicates of him during missions where support is needed. The Manhunters have all the powers of Henshaw, but must use a propulsion system for flight.

Henshaw is a very cunning operative who uses everything around him to his advantage. He has learned from everything that he can read, participate in, or download. The storage of this information in the electronic section of his brain allows him to adapt quickly to overcome an adversary. Henshaw has learned every combat style on record making him a fierce hand-to-hand combatant. He is skilled in the use of many military weapons and vehicles. He is a vicious man that does not allow for defeat, which may be his only weakness. This vicious streak is why he wears the “S” shield of Superman. In his mind the “S” stands for superior.

Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character:

1. Cyborg is used as a villain of the month, which usually sees his defeat due to something rather stupid.

2. To give him a sense of humanity that has never been explored due to him being made a psychopath in most stories.

3. He is a great character with lots of potential.

What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person (IE: How are you 'utlimizing' him or her?): I plan to give Henshaw a more human base as a character. By eliminating the faux Fantastic Four voyage of his space ship I am re-writing his origin using real world events. He will feel like any other person, but due to the government conditioning will have many obstacles to face including his own morals and personal feelings. He will be as much a man as he is a soldier for his country.

Two Complete Sentences In Proper English Explaining What You Can Bring To This RPG (As A Player): I wish to bring a new understanding of the human factor when facing adversity and the consequences of one’s actions in those moments leading to his own gritty edge. The second thing I plan to bring forth is attempt to humanize a character that has been repeatedly used as a throw away villain by giving him a blend of the comic version mixed with an ordinary person dealing with his own issues.

What Fonts Do You Plan To Use For Your Character’s Speech? (Makes the roster look better):
Red arial font

Please Provide A Small Sample Post In The Format You Wish To Portray Your Character In:

The days here numbered. They don’t know what’s about to hit them and that’s the way I like to operate. I sit in the sky silently laughing to myself because they never look up. Tiny ants going about their daily lives on the ground without even a wonder of what may be lurking above, constantly looking forward on the ground suspecting no danger. What is it they say? That only happens to the other guy…

The Manhunters have provided me with much intel about the target. I know when to strike, the window is nearly upon me. I silently lower myself behind the tool shed in the middle of the complex. I used my own uplinks to control the cameras days ago. With a mental command they move to hide my passing.

The guard is nearly upon me. I step out. He sees the “S”. It is the last thing he ever sees as I burnout his retinas with the lasers from my own. “I’m not him,” I say as I walk calmly to my destination, “he would have asked…”

Well, the Manhunters have already been introduced in their standard role as Green Lantern villains. And I'm not entirely sure why the government would spend all that time creating a guy who's obsessed with killing a hero when there are plenty of villains to deal with.

The rest of it sounds pretty cool, though. Perhaps my boys at LexCorp could have a hand in this if the Cadmus-centered app gets turned down.

That reminds me, Andy, I think sometime before Season III, we need to talk Metallo again.
