Character You Would Like To Play: SuperBoy

Basic History Of The Character: Superboy’s origins begins at Cadmus labs. Scientist there were working on a project, project Superman. The exact nature of the project is a mystery. The only thing knowledgeable is that the scientist was incapable of successfully cloning Superman. Due to the inability to replicate and stabilize kryptonian DNA, the clones of Superman degenerate after a short period of time. After several failed experiments, they grafted what they could of Superman’s DNA onto human DNA and that process stabilized the extraterrestrial genes thus Superboy was born.


Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character:

1. I’m a big Superboy fan

2. Since this is an Ultimate universe I can put my own twist on the character.

3. Even though he is a clone of Superman he can be just as big of a hero.

What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person (IE: How are you 'utlimizing' him or her?): I plan on taking Superboy in a different direction then what was taking in the comics. Focus on him as more of a person and not just some clone of Superman. To me it seemed like DC didn’t start to show him as a real hero until the moment he died. (thats just how i feel.) I plan to show that as soon as possible. Also show that he can be just as big of a hero as The Man of Steel.

Two Complete Sentences In Proper English Explaining What You Can Bring To This RPG (As A Player): Hopefully I can bring some new and interesting ideas to the table. And post almost every day because I have no life.

What Fonts Do You Plan To Use For Your Character’s Speech? (Makes the roster look better): I guess i'll shall be using this baby/light blue color here.

Please Provide A Small Sample Post In The Format You Wish To Portray Your Character In: I seem to be in a deep sleep. Everything is all black and my body I can’t move but yet I can hear what going on around me. Voices could be heard fading in and out, hard to make out what is being said. Maybe if I concentrate I can make it out better.

“How is the subject coming along?” A man asks with such eagerness.

The person relied by saying. “Sir it’s coming along quite well. Project 13 will be up and running in no time. All we need is about four more months and then….”

Before the gentleman could finish his sentence he was interrupted.

“You don’t have four months. I gave you a deadline and you will meet. You have 48 hours. GET IT DONE!”

I could hear the man walking away. It seems that I have some acute senses. While trying to come to terms what was happing to me I heard another conversation.

“You heard the man, pump up the treatments. We have a deadline and the only way we are going to make is by doubling the serum.”

Then the sound of wheels rolling on the floor bought pain to my ears. Someone must have gotten up from a chair.

“No you can’t do that. If you do there is no telling what could happened.”

“I can do anything I want, I’m head of this project. You and the others will do what I say.”

“You know as well as I do if we increase the treatments this project will be for nothing. The DNA we are dealing with isn't like nothing we have seen. The fact that we finally got it right we can't get a head of ourselves.”

“Don’t you think I know that? I know what is on the line her. This is my life work but when a man like him asks you to do something you do it. I don’t plan on being the one telling him we couldn’t complete the project, do you?”

Dead silence, there were no more words spoken. I could only hear what seem to be fingers hitting a key board.

Some time has pass and my eyelids that at first felt so heavy didn’t seem that heavy anymore. I feel that with enough strength I can open them. As I was trying to do so I could once again hear the voices.

“What’s going on?”

“I told you it was about idea. His body is reacting to the increase of the treatment and if it continues he is going to wake….”

My eyes then opens. At first my vision is a little blurry but once it got in focus I saw that I was in a tube surround in water with people looking at me.

How did I get here? What are they doing to me? I thought to myself.

I begin to bang on the glass yelling for them to let me out. The look on their faces showed me that they won’t counting on me to wake. As I continue to pound on the glass my eyes begin to feel like they were on fire. The more I try to close them the more they seem to burn. Then to my surprise I could feel extreme heat release from eyes shooting out of the tube into the area that the people are looking at me from. The pain was unbearable for me to handle I was looking to the left and right holding my head hoping that the ache from my eyes to stop.

Seconds later it did.

I look and see the glass of the tube is broken and as I look out into the room where the people were looking on at me all I see is destruction. The computers were on fire and people lay on the floor motionless and the sound of alarms could be heard. I don’t know what is going on and I don’t care only thing I know is I have to get out of here. I step out of the tube and head to one of the stationary corpses. I kneel down and took the coat off one of them to cover my self up for the time being. At that moment my improved hearing came into play once again. It seems that I was picking up on someone who was speaking into a walky-talky.

“Everyone there has been an accident in the lab, the test subject is loose. Use unlethal force to take him down.”

Great. I thought. By test subject he must mean me. I have to get out of here. I stand to my feet and head to the nearest door. I open it slowly and look down the hall. Good its empty I better hurry before it gets crowded.

I make it to a door that leads to some stairs. I open the door and find out that I’m on the bottom floor.

“I must be under ground.” I say to my self.

Right now I don’t have time to think about that I have to get on the move before they capture me. Wasting little time I quickly run up the stairs as if I was a track star. At the top of the stairs I finally make it to a door. I grab a hold of the handle and try to open it but it’s jammed. I look to the left and see that it needs a key code to open it and a key code is something I don’t have and sure enough don’t have time to find another exit. My only shot is to try and force it open. I then rest my body against the door and with all my might I push on the door. The harder I push the more I could hear something breaking. That fueled me more to provide more pressure. To my surprise I rip the door off. I take a moment to look at the amazing feat I have just done.

“How did I do that?”

I say before I realize that I am being chased and don’t have time to sit and stare in amazement. On that note I ran to get far away as possible before they would catch up with me.

I been reading and i see that the person Trigger was the one playin Superboy. I also see that Trigger was Superboy in season two also but Trigger's last post was in November. So is it safe to say his character is up for grabs or do i have to choose another?
