Character You Would Like To Play: Bizarro-World
Basic History Of The Character:
It is impossible for human beings to truly comprehend the size and scale of the universe, or the true nature of time and space as it is. It is even moreso to understand what happens when those rules are broken.
Billions of light years away from the planet Earth, there was a star so young that it gave off a powerful blue light. There was nothing wholly remarkable about this blue star, other than the fact that it was at the exact opposite spatial coordinates of Earth's own sun.
The blue star had drifted along for millions of years, with no neighboring systems, no nearby stars, no satellites in its orbit, nothing...
...until recently.
On the planet Earth, the Coluan super-computer known as Brainiac had attempted to enslave the indigenous life-forms, only to be stopped by a group of extraordinary beings, both human and otherwise. Brainiac's last-ditch effort to preserve his experiment involved capturing the Kryptonian Kal-El through a wormhole in the time/space continuum. Unfortunately for the machine, the process was interrupted midway, causing a time/space inversion.
The inversion spat out something on the exact opposite end of space.
Something large...
...something alive...
....something...square...
Three Reasons Why You Have Chosen That Character:
1. I've always loved the Bizarro characters, and want to use them in a slightly more creative way than the typical 'imperfect clone' route.
2. Having the Bizarro World drifting around could lead to some potentially interesting space adventures (Bizarro World vs. the Green Lanterns maybe?)
3. With so many dark gritty uber-serious characters around, it'd be nice to have one that can serve as comic relief.
What Do You Plan On Doing With This Character As A Person (IE: How are you 'utlimizing' him or her?):
Aside from a new origin, I'm going along with the All-Star Superman idea of making the Bizarro-World a living thing, a planet-eater that mimics Earth. The Bizarros themselves will grow mentally as they learn to cope in a universe where they, by all rights, shouldn't exist.
Also, the Bizarro-World holds a very, very, very dangerous secret that is one of many big surprises I'm saving for later.

I've got a knack for slow-burn storytelling, which can take a back-seat for a while before suddenly rising back up to the forefront. And like I said earlier, there's a lot more to what I'm planning than meets the eye.

"Attention, attention. There is an unidentified object approaching our vessel from the vicinity of the unknown planet. It's...it's moving inexplicably fast, and...merciful gods, it's coming right for us!"
Us no watch as Bizarro go further away from space-thing. Him no good at fixing things, so him make all Bizarros happy. Him no make these people happy too.
"Repulsor screens have failed, and evasive actions are ineffective. We've got visual...it's alive! It's a creature wearing a red cape and--"
