This week's episode is Ultimate Deadpool. The episode, Stan By Me from Season 2, that was supposed to air last sunday, has been delayed until further notice.

Deadpool ep was actually pretty good for having a censored Deadpool. Had some decent 4th wall stuff. The "I'm gonna un-alive you" lines had me cracking up.

I liked the episode, and Deadpool, until they got to his real origin story. Talk about neutering a character and taking away all the legitimate drama and pain.

Yeah, I take it they were really restricted on what they could show. So no Cancer, Workshop etc. Since Joe Kelly wrote the ep it most have been really limited since he wrote DP's original backstory in the comics.

So, I watched this only because of Deadpool. He was okayish. Liked it when he occasionally put the serious on, and the "We're gonna un-alive them." was pretty golden. But as always, I pretty much disliked everything else.

This show is like a guilty pleasure to me but I have to say I enjoyed DP stealing the spotlight and owning him and that was fun. I'm goin to keep watching to see when introduce Felicia.

I'm still sad about the Stan episode, I hope they schedule a new date for it soon.

I felt like since Deadpool kept lying about his origin, the "truth" wasn't entirely the case either. When the kids are older, then they'll find out about the cancer and everything else but making Deadpool younger was a very interesting idea.

I am not a fan of this show. I would love to see a spider show or animated movie done by titmouse. They did the intro to Marvel Heroes and G.I.JOE Resolute. On the other hand they also do most of the Adult Swim shows.

Wish Marvel kept Josh Keaton to voice Pete.

Just watched today's episode and im really getting tired of the fourth wall crap esp in the beginning and I have to say its fun now to watch this spider-man get his butt kicked and I don't like his voice its very annoying, i'm only watching this for three reasons but thats it and I have to agree I miss Josh Keaton.

It was fun seeing Green Goblin and Venom combined and Doctor Octopus again, but now I wonder what they will do for the second season finale, since they decided to get rid of Green Goblin by turning him back into Norman Osborn.

Maybe he has turned back but has form a split personality hence the classic green goblin debuts

This show is a huge disrespect to Spider-Man, even more than Spider-Man 3.

The Spectacular Spider-Man was a BRILLIANT animated series. It took all of the greatest elements from several different incarnations of Spider-Man and put them together in one, well-written, well-crafted series.

When I'm watching Ultimate Spider-Man, my mind is slowing turning into mush. I cringe everytime I watch it. Spider-Man is supposed to use humor as a coping mechanism to make fighting criminals a lot easier. He is a teenager after all, and does get scared. He is not supposed to break the fourth wall; USM portrays him as, well, a stupid character. Marvel finally gets the animation rights back from Disney, and they waste their opportunity to make a great Spider-Man series and instead give us THIS?

*sheesh* if you have nothing nice to say about this awesome cartoon, don't say it at all and give this show a chance because this is a test run of the new animation so you will probably see a new cartoon before 2030.

You mean I only have to wait until 2030?

The problem is, this show really is just for kids, and I can't enjoy it one bit. I've watched most of the first season, and it was actually rather difficult to get through.

I can't at all say I enjoy this or AA. AT ALL. I like the design, but the animation itself seems cheap. And Spidey has 2 wildly different personalities in any given plot on the show. He's either a dull tool or the most irresponsible teenager alive who never grows or learns things. I never thought either things about the character before this show.

I don't think all the episodes are as bad as they are made out. I actually found the Thor one quite entertaining to watch with my little brother, and I really enjoyed the Deadpool episode. Now sadly though, not all episodes are of that quality

Season 3 has been officially announced and MOA are not involved anymore. Eugene son has taking over as story editor which is good. And people from AEMS are involved with the show so things might feel very different.

Is it me or did the entirety of the GOTG ep just feel like it was phoned in by the creative team?
