Dude...give it up. You *****in' and moanin' all by yourself isn't going to do anything. I hate the show too, yet you don't see me bad-mouthing it at every angle and wishing horrid, horrid death upon it's lyons. Some people actually like the show. Leave them be; you don't have to watch it. Besides, it's already renewed for season 2, so unless something absolutely terrible happens, we still have a whole season to go...on top of the the rest of this one.

Crap dont remind me, that there is still a second season for 2013.

Maybe Ultimate Spider-man season 2 is what the mayans predicted as a terrible catastrophe to happen at the end of 2012

IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW

Most likely the best episode (which can only rank at mediocre) is the one with the Hulk. Because they do it stylized as found footage it prevents their childish and stupid family guy cut away jokes.

Ooh, that sounds mildly intriguing. Over at TV Club (where they're a lot kinder to the show than we are), they gave top grades to the Thor episode, which doesn't sound the least bit interesting after everyone here crapped on it after watching it.

So why the hell did they do the Freaky Friday flip for the Wolverine episode? I know it was in the comics, but seriously? Why am I even asking?

I really, reallly enjoy this show, though I understand why others don't. The thing is, cancelling it isn't going to bring back Spectacular Spider-man and the chances of Marvel producing something on the same level of that show again are slim to nil so I'd recommend either A. Stop watching Ultimate Spider-man if you really hate it that much and B. Start appreciating the show for what it is, a children's-focused take on the character that wants to link with other Marvel properties rather than retracing the older cartoon's footsteps for the 15th time in a row.

what I'M hoping for...

along with those two "creative" idiots in charge getting tossed out on their asses...

I'm still watching.. I just don't see the point in posting when no one else but me seems to actually like the show.
I enjoy it too, but it's fun to enjoy haters in their talk about it

I am watching the show too and enjoying it but i understand what the fans are going through. The truth is its not spectacular spider-man show itself, its the fact that the spectacular spider-man hit the right formular for a spider-man show. perfect spidery humor, not childish (even if the animation looked children like), character development, Peter Parker's relationship with his friends and family, centered only on spider-man's side of things.

We don't really need other superheros to visit all the time just on occasions maybe every 10th episode and all that. Marvel had a very good opportunity to continue that format but this time with no constraints, no politics (like how in spectacular spider-man they couldn't use kingpin because of fox and gave the title to tombstone instead).

A new show could have all this formulars and show that spider-man is in the marvel universe. They can call it sensational spider-man if they like we don't care just give fans what they have wanted for years. Kids don't give a **** as long as its good to watch. And from what I am hearing all around is that fans and adults watch spider-man more than kids.

Is that why Tombstone was in Spec? I didn't know that. I thought he was a great addition all the same.

yes that's why Sony could not use the kingpin because of fox so now that marvel produce their own shows with the partnership of Disney they can bring who ever the like just like dc and wonerbrothers do.

You're not the only one. I like the show too. While I don't like it nearly as much as I did TSSM, the show makes me smile.

the last episode made me laugh like, when wolverine could not swing as spider-man and when spider-man as wolverine asked for a time out. And I really liked the way wolverine looked here.

Oh god what's happening here...we hate this show remember!? And I thought it's on its second season?

the sooner to the end of the series, the better...

but we're not that lucky...

it's still in it's first season...

10 episodes in and you guys grieve a lot

If what Agent X said about rating dropping down to 30%, you might relax and see the show destroy itself and gets replaced by something possibly sensational, at least compared to this show

I still absolutely hate this show. For me it's the combination of Family Guy cuttaway gags and the fact that Peter Parker is actually Ash from Pokemon.

When was Peter ever rash, moronic, hot headed, narcissistic, and downright irresponsible in the comics (post uncle ben death)?

Even his teammates think he is kind of unlikable and stupid and I've got no reason to disagree with them.

I love the cutaway gags on Family Guy, but I like them better there than here. Not to say I don't like them here, I do, but I just think the ones on Family Guy are funnier. How is he like Ash in this show? I like this show, but I can understand why a lot of people wouldn't like it, so I'm not trying to start a fight with you or anything. I'm just curious about the Ash comparison.

Ash within the Pokemon series is rash and impulsive in order to reach his goal to be "the very best" where Spidey in this series is rash and impulsive to become the "ultimate" crime fighter.

Ash's teammates think he's an idiot and treat him with disdain as do Spider-Man's teammates in this.

Ash will learn something in an episode and forget it in the next. Spidey in this series will also so the same thing and thus is destined to keep making the same boneheaded mistakes through the series.

Ash has an annoying voice. Spider-Man in this show has an annoying voice.

The major difference is that Ash has at least SOME likable moments. Oh God. I just figured out Ash is a more likable character than this Ultimate Spider-man. I've reached a new depressed low.

It was an over exaggeration but I was making the point that Spider-Man personality in this show in NO WAY resembles that of the comics. This is what happens the writers think that power=character. They think as long has he can shoot webs and stick to walls then he doesn't need to actually have the personality of Spider-Man and Peter Parker. Thus, to me, not only is there no Spidey villains in this show but there is also no Spider-Man, just someone masquerading in his costume.

Hahaha.

I would love if Parker was killed, bringing in Miles.

you mean in the context of the USM cartoon?...

if so, THAT would work for me...

anything to remove the name of Peter Parker from this mess...

Hate this show, but this is the best of the lot. The comedy works for most part due to the the scenario. Deadpool kinda cameo :D

Just saw the episode. I still wasn't fond of the tone but at least this time around they managed to actually do the comedy competently. There were some legitimately funny parts even if the cutaways were still pretty obnoxious. Dialogue felt better written too.

Still it was kind of still overly silly and childish with a half hashed moral just thrown in at the end. It also highlights how much better of a voice actor the wolverine actor is. He did a great job imitating Drake Bell while Bell's attempts at portraying logan where kind of weak and he only really just growled a lot.

Still. This is one of the better episodes even if it ranks at mediocre and only on the comedy end of the scale.
