That fiendish Godzilla

Decent, but no where near as good as Godzilla vs Destroyer.

I really want to watch some of those Godzilla films now

I think I'll get my Godzilla collection out and have a movie marathon. I need some Godzilla-y goodness

I don't know about the whole DCU timeline thing but for me I view a 15 year old timeline give or take a year or two in Marvel Universe.

Yep thats how I view the DC comics timeline too. Though I think DC has said that in their current timeline heroes have been around for about ten years and the JLA has been around for five I think fifteen years would make more sense

These riots are getting ridiculous. Have you guys seen the video of the kid getting his PSP stolen after someone broke his jaw? Disgusting.

Also, Amazon has stopped all orders of baseball bats to the UK....

Yeah he was an malaysian student.

I can honestly say I'm not even surprised some people over here are just the lowest of the low.

I hope the authorities are gathering all this video and tracking some of these people down. In the case of the Malaysian student, the guy who took his PSP is clearly visible, someone can identify him. He might not have been the guy who broke the kid's jaw but they should pin it on him as he is no better than that guy.

The police won't do ****. I guarantee a lot of those who are caught will get slapped on the wrist. Probably do some community service and get fined... which they won't pay. These youngsters just don't give a **** about anything, they all need a good beating to put them back into place. They're doing it because they can get away with it thanks to the government being soft on them.

Don't worry people have been setting up tumblrs, facebook pages to help catch rioters and the police have been releasing photos.

The cops have been performing raids all day and the courts have been open 24 hours processing all the rioters cops have been busting
I live in California. If I flew to London, I'd have to endure that twice. Once to catch a connecting flight in New York, and again to cross the Atlantic.

**** it, I'll just go to Hawaii. It's all the adventure of visiting a different country without actually visiting a different country. And it's closer.
Most British people visit Florida because its closest and we are too lazy flight longer than the east coast :funny:

so the riots are still going? that's less than awesome

You know what would be nice? If all that Tax money the royalty wasted on their wedding was actually used to helping these Riot victims.

Best Onion article in a while :hehe:

Whiny, Selfish 8-Year-Old Always Wants His Parents To Stop Yelling At Each Other
ST. PAUL, MN—In a shockingly selfish pattern of behavior that has occurred repeatedly over the past six months, local 8-year-old and whiny brat Sean Cooper has continued his habit of interrupting his parents with his pleas for them to stop screaming at each other, sources reported Thursday.

Sean, who has an extensive history of not minding his own business, apparently cannot display the common courtesy of keeping his mouth shut as his parents, Robert and Karen Cooper, loudly discuss Robert's short temper and Karen's controlling nature at the family dinner table, or in the middle of the living room late at night when Sean is supposed to be in bed sleeping.

"I wish Mommy and Daddy would be nice to each other," the wantonly disrespectful second-grader told reporters, seemingly unaware of the total lack of gratitude he exhibits toward his parents on a nearly daily basis by constantly interjecting tearful pleas for them to stop arguing. "They used to be happy and now they fight all the time. I just want things to be how they used to be."

"I wish I could make them not fight anymore," he continued, perhaps too self≠absorbed to realize that whatever his parents happen to be discussing from moment to moment is absolutely none of his concern, and that children should never, under any circumstances, try to involve themselves in the business of adults. "I hope they don't get a divorce."

According to sources, despite the fact that no one cares what his opinion is because he's only 8 years old, Sean once again subjected his parents to his rampaging ego late Wednesday night when he knocked on their bedroom door at 1 a.m. and tearfully informed them that he could hear them yelling mean things at each other through his wall.

While clutching his stuffed animal and staring morosely at his feet like some sort of sulking, grade-school prima donna, Sean then reportedly proceeded to take up another 45 seconds of his parents' valuable time explaining in needlessly long-winded detail that it made him sad when they fought, never once stopping to take note of how utterly self-≠indulgent he was sounding, or how his outburst might be construed as utterly inappropriate given the fact that his parents had been in the midst of a private conversation concerning their marriage.

"They told me it was very late and they were having a grown-up talk and I should go back to my room," said the child, who was quite rightly put in his place in that instance, and really should have known better than to interrupt in the first place. "Then later I heard Daddy slam their door and go downstairs to his car."

After trying to present his parents with a rather condescending and manipulative colored-pencil drawing he had made of the three of them standing outside their house with big smiles on their crudely rendered faces, Sean told reporters in a trembling voice that can only be described as immensely irritating that he didn't "know who to talk to" about the situation with his parents, as though blabbing his mouth off about the lives of others were ever a wise idea.

"Why is this happening?" whined the little **** for what felt like the 5,000th time this week, his pouty voice reaching levels of annoyance that would make even the most levelheaded adult want to pick up a chair and throw it across the room in sheer exasperation. "Is it my fault?"

"I should just run away," added Sean, positing his first sensible thought in years. "Maybe that would make everything better."

At press time, Sean was most likely feeling sorry for himself and finding a way to make everything all about him, just as he always does.

I don't want to say the British have a lot of pent up aggression, but most American cities gets their riots over and done with in one night.

(mostly because all the good stuff is looted after the first night)

You know what would be nice? If all that Tax money the royalty wasted on their wedding was actually used to helping these Riot victims.
The Royal family don't actually cost that much its 62 pence a person a year per person basically a dollar a year. Monarchists say they bring in money in tourism that covers the cost but whatever.

People started a petition to have the state strip rioters of their state benifits like subsidised housing and so on.

I say take their council houses and give them to the people they made homeless
so the riots are still going? that's less than awesome
They have died down for now

That and people have a tribal/gang mentality here and basically love to fight/be violent which is why football hooliganism was big in the past.

:whatever::whatever::whatever:

Why is that everything goes back to the royals. You realize all that money would not have been wasted if no one gave a **** and not lined up the streets to watch it right.

natural desire to hate those percieved as better off than you?

The Royal wedding was a tourism commercial, the average British person doesn't give a rats ass about the royal family and if you spend time in the country they are not in public life as much as you would think.

Its not like the queen is on tv every minute or on the news. Most people just live their lives and your lucky if you here anything about the royal familes of europe once or twice a year.

They don't walk around wearing crowns or in stage coaches all the time. Thats just for the ceremonial stuff they do every now and again

I wanna see some distant royal cousin kill off everybody in the line and stage a coup to take back control of the country from Parliament. Not because I think a Monarchy is better or nothing but just because you don't see that sorta thing from the Brits anymore. :o

Prime Ministers head on a pike on London Bridge. Breaking out the Throne and crown and just chillin' out in court with a big ass sword and some serving wenches. That old school royalty s**t.

Yeah, they lack the fire in their collective belly. "Heavy is the head that wears the crown" my ass. Today the royals are just another bunch of celebrities.

Well did this Tourism money and whatnot get to good use or can we presume it will be used then on this? :yay::yay:

Would be kind of pointless do you watch celebrity genealogy tv show 'Who Do You Think You Are?'

Everyone is realated to royalty due to the fact Europes population was insanely small a few hundred years ago which is why its really common to find out your decesended from royalty.

So basically we are all in line to the throne. There is some eastern europe socialite chick who is like 156 in line to the throne of britain.

The immediate family list goes up to 45 which means if your number 46 you have alot of people to kill :cwink:

I think roalty prefer the way things are if they controlled the country they would actully have to make decisions like the economy and stuff.

ok, here's where i'm at. do i go with the one that requires abosutely no effort on my part, or the slightly more attractive one i know little about who's been kinda flirty. neither option really opens up for a few weeks due to training, and i think if i put any effort into one it may drive off the other. thoughts?
