Gotham Knight goes between Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, also in a garbage can.

You could always add the Batman vs. Dracula, Brandon Vietti directed it and it has enjoyable action scenes. :p It's not Batman Forever bad either.

I'm doing the animated movies first so I can get that out of the way. Also I enjoyed Gotham Knight... which I haven't watched in years so you may be right for all I know. :csad:

I was debating on that one but I thought it was pretty terrible even for my standards.

Yeah it was pretty terrible, but i liked the action sequences. Tho Vicky Vale and "ALUCARD = DRACULA!" Really demonstrated how Batman's the world's greatest detective.

Dracula's cunning ability to spell his name backwards is no match for Batman's detective skills

Why no love for Gotham Knights Womp

How they attempted to shoehorn it into Nolan's universe though it didn't fit story-wise or aestetically (sp). Plus, the stories weren't very good and I didn't care for a lot of the art. It was just meh all over.

Mask of the Phantasm is still the epitome of what a Batman movie should be IMO

Without a doubt.
I think I've seen Mask of the Phantasm maybe 10+ times and it still hasn't lost its luster.

Siskel and Ebert did a review of it when it hit home video and they approved

Mask of the Phantasm is fab its true. Loved the story and the flashbacks to Bruce's first year as Batman and when he first put on the costume

And I loves the Phantasm. Her costume design looked bad ass

one of the best things they did in that movie is show that Bruce struggled with his "vow" at the start

It's one of the bestest Batman films that's been made so far for sure. Hamil's best performance as the Joker too I think

I personally think RoTJ gives it a run for its money.

I don't know about that...definitely has an above average story, who would have guessed that Joker implanted himself in Tim Drake

Yeah, you'd figure Batman would have implanted himself in Tim Drake. :o
