HEY! Do any of you guys like RPGs? If so, you should check out the DC World's Finest RPG. It's a relaunch of the long running DC RPG from the Hype Basement. After many years of playing, we felt our dense continuity - much like the comics - had started to make us inaccessible. So, with a reboot, we hoped to encourage some new players to take part. The game launches tomorrow, but the OOC thread is open, and we welcome all applicants!

Scott Pilgrim would 100% have succeeded as a movie if they'd bothered hiring a leading actor with charisma.

"dude beats up his girlfriend's several evil boyfriends, with flashy lights and colours" is exactly the sort of concept that people who watch Jersey Shore or American Idol are designed to get.

I wont go see a movie just because he's in it. Hell I don't do that for anybody. But I wont NOT see a movie because he's in it.

I mean if he's in a movie about bunny taffying, then I'm not gonna go see it because he's in it.....I'd see it because it's a movie about bunny taffying.

I've always thought Michael Cera got more hate than he deserved. At worst, he doesn't bring a movie down any more than the rest of its cast.

While I'm here, let me also say that I never understood why everybody hated Ben Affleck.

I think Micheal Cera is ok, sure he plays the same role often but so do lots of actors.

Ben Affleck is ok also but I do find him boring in movies often.
His at his best for me when he plays *****ey characters like in Glory Daze, Mallrats, Dogma, Smokin Aces and best of all Boiler Room in which his only in the film a little but comes in and delivers one of the most badass straight up gangster speeches in modern cinema t:

And its important that a new generation of movie goers be warned about the ever present danger of giant monster ants

but see, you're not a healthy person so i expect that from you. it has decent camera work and nobody dies, screams, plots to kill anyone, etc.
