My back hurts. :csad:

Oh, and for the third year, a group of super goths came in and one got one of the hardcover reprints of Alan Moore's Swamp Thing. I decided to ask one them about it, just kind of casually asked if he enjoyed the other books. Said they got because they heard it inspired Gaiman's The Sandman. I knew there had to be a connection.

I remember seeing her on MTV. Her favorite Ninja Turtle was Michaelangelo.. She tried sparing with her brother and he knocked her down pretty hard. She was pretty funny in a pathetic way.

yes. I have a picture with her, who's the pathetic one now? wait :cmad:

Hope that they dig it Swamp Thing was an :awesome: series

I'd have said headbutts were in order for this kind of conduct, but it's your country I suppose, so I shouldn't be one to force my own disciplinary methods upon you... To each their own.

My Scottish roommate's first line of defense is always the headbutt... What's the deal with that?

It's probably just my own Scottish lineage courtesy of the Grant clan in this case...

I'm a true mongrel composite of Scot, German, Italian and English (that we know of)...

Italian leg hair/love of food/subtle crotch adjustments, Scottish ability to eat the uneatable/survive the inhospitable cold in shorts (or I suppose a kilt, though that's untested), German drinking ability/cool temperament/fiery anger/desire to annex Poland and English pastiness, cooking inability and profanity...

Oh lol. :P

Well he's in 'Merika now. And in 'Merika we use our fists... And guns.

You can take the Glaswegian out of Scotland, but you can't take the Glasgow kiss out of the Glaswegian...

I have never understood why they call it a Glasgow kiss

Even I think its a little too rough to be a kiss

Do Goths still exist I thought that was a 90s thing and because I hardly ever see Goths anymore even in Camden. You usually only see emos and metal heads these days

Ah the old Glasgow kiss!

A Glaswegians way of saying hello and goodbye!

My Scottish friend got drunk and headbutted a wall once

Also "Interesting weather we're having here, isn't it?" and "Which way to the post office?"

I almost was on the receiving end myself once when I asked "So which are you? A Celtics man, or Rangers?"

Fortunately he was sober and calm enough to only respond with a "F*** off, man! I'm f***in' Aberdeen!"

I avoid asking scottish people if they are Celtics or Rangers fans as I value my life :csad:

In hindsight I should have asked him about his religion... It's less confronting (oddly enough) and pretty much gives you the answer in the process (assuming they ARE from Glasgow)...

I like Frankie Boyle joke "the arrogence of al qaeda trying to bring religous war to Scotland, they are about 500 years too late"

My arms and legs display a healthy Australian tan, but it's my torso that shows my Scottish heritage.

I am, as the Big Yin so eloquently put it, "a kind of pale blue"...
