I went with 2010: A Boob Odyssey. By the way, did one of you weirdos comment on it already?
I saw Planet Hulk. Not terrible, but it lacked a lot of what made the comic version so great. Namely, you know, the lion's share of the Hulk's actual character development. But you can't really expect too much from any Marvel DTV movie. The animation was at least pleasantly well done in places. Definitely one of the better animated Marvel/Lionsgate DTVs. Brota Ray Bill looked a little weird but totally had the best scenes, even though he was just standing in for the Silver Surfer. I gave it 3 stars on Netflix, which is as good as any of the Marvel DTVs have managed to get from me. Hopefully that deal will expire soon and Marvel can put their characters in more competent hands.
Definitely. That was the main problem with Planet Hulk, in fact: they just didn't have enough time to develop the characters as well as the comic version did and still include enough action to keep the addle-brained lowest common denominator interested, so of course the story suffered rather than the action scenes.I just wish they give them 20, hell 10 extra minutes on each of the movies. Trying to cram so much into such a short time frame really drags the movies down.
It is indeed called World War Hulk. It involves the Hulk fighting people, then getting angrier and fighting more people. That's literally all there is to the story. But you're a Millar fan, so I'm sure that'll do it for you.I got interested in that Hulk comic by John Romita jr where he returns to earth and fights everyone.. What was it called World War Hulk? Or is that the upcoming Loeb story arc? Anyhow is the one drawn by JRJR noob-friendly for me? I've seen Planet Hulk movie and i'm aware who Skaar is, is this good enough?![]()
