Carl will survive this, but I don't think it's going to be a simple eye-patch fix. I wouldn't be surprised if Kirkman had Rick dealing with a half-dead vegetable-like son for a few issues before having Rick euthanize him.

Morgan and (a few issues back) Dale die. They were the heart and soul of this book, and it's especially surprising seeing how well they were portrayed in the show. Still can't believe he had Carl shot in the ****ing face. Why am I having weird de javu writing this post?

this is the first time to my knowledge they've shown a child devoured by zombies. And christ, Rick chopping the lady's arm with a ****ing hatchet. Brutal. This (comics) really is the best medium for zombie fiction. You'll never see this **** done on film, at least not well.
