My appetite is more important than not offending any of my friends. You're a better man than I. I'll eat a baconator in front of all my vegetarian friends and lick the wrapper when I'm done :o

DEGENERATE:cmad:

So some of you guys are black. Would you be mad, if say, when a fat white guy was asked if he was wearing a bow tie to the prom, he said "N**ga pleeze. You know I am."
"You sir, are worse than Hitler..."

I thought we were hunting the poor for sport??
"We?"

It's above our paygrade.

It's capitalism son, only the richest 1% get to hunt the bottom 10-20%. Just enough of the lower close get hunted to keep us turning up to them jobs...

Circle of life

Specific plotwise we don't know, but the trailer paints it as about a guy who is kind of torn between the two ways his parents say and lived life from childhood to adulthood.

Oh, and apparently there's suppose to be dinosaurs and space marines.

Will Axe Cop be riding these dinosaurs

Is anyone enjoying JLA right now?

I like the ape and the blue Starman

And Jessie Quick she is cute and fab

You want to see them sucker punch Captain America and Sherlock Holmes all at once, or separately?

I see what you did there :awesome:

I felt the same way about a Casshern anime. I watched the live-action Casshern movie and thought it was pretty good, so I tried this anime out when I saw it on Hulu. I watched like 2 episodes and gave up. Soooooooooo boring with all the melodramatic shots of this dude just standing there, looking forlorn or whatever.
Thats Anime for you. Characters fighting over emotionally repressed women in giant robot suits then stopping midway in a fight to debate philosophies of violence.

Yeah I would probabley be a offened because I personally don't like the N-word in general and don't really see a use for it in the english language but hey we have free speech so people can say what they want.

I liked OO or Double O Gundam.

It had this...very...Alan Moore-ish tone where these Gundam pilots decide to put an end to armed conflict by being this omnipresent threat. Very Authority-ish. Look past the pretty boyish character designs and the fact that these guys are essentially Terrorists, you might enjoy the story.

The main character? Some fair-skinned Arab kid who killed his own folks and blames it on his Cult leader for goading him into it. Terrorist.

That's not just an anime thing, but more of Japanese entertainment/art kind of thing. They like long shots, and often use them quite a bit. Scott McCloud talked about it in Understanding Comics in relation to manga and American comics, and how it tied back to classic Japanese literature. Very interesting stuff.

Hehe, Double O Gundam No, but seriously, I've heard good things about that show. I didn't know it was like that, though.

Alice in Wonderland is coming out to Blu-ray on the 1st of next month, and Disney hasn't released the usual $10 coupon like they have for their other catalog titles. Most uncool.

I'm still hoping they'll release it, but they usually do about a week or two before, so I'm not holding my breath or anything. It's not like thy're obligated to release one, just odd they'd skip on this all of a sudden. I'll still buy it, though, but may hold off from day one.

Here's something interesting: Mark Millar is starting the 'Stan Lee' awards in the same vain of stuff like the Eisner and Kirby awards. Basically says it'll be an award stuff focused more on the mainstream stuff

Yep might wait a bit for it to come down in price

That is pretty neat wonder who will be the first to be nominated for a Stan Lee award

A new Winnie the Pooh movie and a new Muppet's movie

well yeah, but i'll go see the muppets movie by myself. probably after it's been out a few weeks at a late show on a wednesday to avoid children as much as possible

On the topic of Winnie The Pooh. All those creatures exist in Christopher Robin's head right? So when Owl teaches him something new, is it crap he already knew?
