Maya went to Collins Hill HS... one of my rival schools... Her team loved my baseball team and brought us a big dinner and brownies one time because we supported them during the playoffs one year lol... she's (well was back then) very kind.

as for Ledecky... it was a freak performance.

Moore was awesome when i met her too. i've been a UCONN fan since 2000, so when they came here and played ODU i HAD to go

i saw Ledecky earlier today in the relay and she was great

i'm also pulling really hard for Ross/Walsh-Jennings in Beach Volleyball. i'd love for KWJ to get her 4th gold medal. i think she's only ever lost one set, never a match

The Woolly Whatsit being the big pink hairy guy that loves to sit in waterfalls, be covered in rainbows and make motorboating sounds?

I'm pretty sure no one ever thought that wasn't flamboyant enough for the kids.

Beyond putting him in a gimp suit, I'm not sure what else you could do to him.

no i missed that. i was watching the medal ceremony

i watched USA/AUS beach volleyball last night, and KWJ has had like 6 shoulder surgeries, 2 dislocated shoulders, same one and they were talking about how she had to play a qualifier serving underhand and spiking with her left hand so they could qualify for the olympics. and just as they said that, she hammed a spike with her off-hand for a point and she was murdering with her main hand.

So I was looking at two phone cases I want and need to decide which one I want more.

I'm having a hard time deciding on which one. I'd get both but it's pretty much a waste since I have one phone and no need for a second case since I'll probably get a new model phone before I need a new case.
