Maybe the symbiate nails JJ in SM4... manwolf is pretty gay... don't wanna see him ever... but if the symbiate gets JJ and he becomes Venom that might work... however I am used to Brock being Venom and if we get him for only ten minutes and he dies... My personal opinion is I don't care what arad or any other prop designer/special effects artist/producer/screenwriter/key grip(what do they do??!)/chair maker/or carpenter says if they're gona bring in a character like venom or for that matter any character unless it's mary janes play co star or an old lady walking down the street they will not bring them in for 10minutes and then thats it...especially as it's venom!!

if venom is only in it for 10 minutes than it will be setting it up for no.4. anyother way would just be illogical.

in my books thats how it will work out, simple as.

actually, setting venom up for part 4 would be illogical. if you've read the Q&A or the leaked summary, you'll see how venom showing up for the battle royale works out for this movie. the whole movie builds up to his appearance, whihc is very cool. they're not gonna have him fight in the biggest battle of comic book history, and then show up again in SM4 to bother spidey some more.

this will be it for him. and it will be awesome.

i feel that everyone's taking that Q&A a bit too much to heart (& that leaked summary was fake) , i'm not sure but has anyone confirmed it or is it another key grip (love that job) claiming to have a copy of the script that he photocopied loads of times and printed it all over the internet? & tbh i havn't read all of the Q&A but if it says that venoms just in the final battle it still would seem a bit weird to have the symbiote just attach to brock at the end so he could fight, spider-man along with other villains that he has never encountered before.

hmmm...well so far, nearly everything that's been shot correlates to what was reported in the Q&A AND that summary. the sets, the shoots, the characters, the leaks, the pictures. i think it's safe to say the Q&A/summary are believable.

sure, maybe nothing's "confirmed", but it doesn't need to be at this point.

and maybe you should read the Q&A and summary to find out what the deal is.

man some of you are eager to move ahead!! i understand if you don't want to see venom at all in this movie, but principle photography hasn't even finished yet and an official venom annoucment hasn't even been made yet (even though it's pretty obvious) & your all ready to move on to the next villain in no.4.

I'm just curious now with so many people agreeing that just a short climax is great with venom, that you hardcore spiderman fans would be happy to see venom for 10 minutes and then never return?? because thats what it sounds like at the moment, because for me & myself being a huge venom fan, I would hate to see venom simply used as a visual display of strength to fight just in the climax kill supposedly two of the other villains (sandman & goblin) and then get beaten by spidey and thats it. I want to see the comic venom who manipulates our hero throughout the whole movie, slowly destroying the ones and life he cares about, I consider venom not to be just power equivalent of spider-man but the life of spiderman that peter would of taken had he remained with the symbiote.

here we go:

1 -- nobody's "ready to move on" to SM4 already. we're just saying that having venom in this fiom AND the next is too much similarity and that we'd rather have a fresh villain.

2 -- it may be a short climax, but it will be SWEET. venom's not only about fighting. his STORY is what makes him great. and in this film, we'll see eddie brock struggle throughout the movie, hating park and spider-man, until the means to fight him fall right into his lap. it will all add up perfectly.

And also when i say venom i mean venom not brock, I have no doubt brock will be utilised to the extreme showing his struggle and torment with parker, but what about his struggle with venom and coming to terms with being a schizophrenic murderer. I'm simply saying for a film with venom as the villain to work you need the whole film to properly characterise him, not 10 mins at the end.

I agree about the GG part, but I think with Harry under the suit it will be alot more personal.

Yeah i agree it would be repetive to bring GG back... that is if he were the only villain. Were getting at least 2 other great villains, so havin Harry become the 2nd GG is absolutely fine and 100% necessary.

As for Venom, if Raimi nails Brock, showing his struggle and torment with Parker as you said, and gives us some intense and amazing visuals/action with Venom in the last 10 minutes of the movie, then we should be thrilled. Brock's struggle with venom and what he's become is a completely different story.

If Raimi gives us good character developement with Brock and a SICK venom, what more could we ask for?

thats the thing i don't want venom just to be in a fight, peronsally I want venom to scare the crap out of me...to me thats how I always saw venom in the comics, the only villain who was a trueee horrific monster (we're going to forget about ultimate gg for a while) and the scene alone where MJ comes home and thinks she sees black spidey but it's actually venom "honey we're home" is a great scene and could so be perfectly adapted to the big screen among with other similarly terrifying moments featuring him. When i say characterise venom properly, I mean to show audience the true horrific temperament of him, hell show venom sucking the life force out of people who cares about the rating (ye studio i know i know) then when the audience has a real feel for venom's monsterous persona, show the struggle between brock & his murderous side, show how out of control it is and how he can't stop the taste for death! make his character like his name VENOMOUS, it's not just a name people.

That is pretty sweet, and is a cool idea, but that would be like an entire movie in itself.... perfect for a spinoff, but i dont' know about all that being in a movie dedicated to telling a story about Peter Parker
