NO IT'S NOT H-Y-P-O-C-R-I-S-Y.

JUST LIKE NO ONE HAS THOUGHT OF UNCLE BEN BEING RESURRECTED AND THE SYMBIOTE BONDING WITH HIM. SOME THINGS ARE JUST SO STUPID, THAT PEOPLE DON'T EVEN HAVE TO BRING THEM UP.

But you just did, and that's why I called your statement hyprocisy. How do you know it's stupid, if you never thought about it?

It seems plain to me that we have someone present who thinks they're enjoying complete moderator protection from dissenting opinions, while feeling free to post insults and slurs by the score themselves; in short, indulging in the very behavior they decry. In fact, indulging in it to a greater degree: most of his dissenters were calling no names, but merely reviling his ideas, not he himself.

If one -insists- upon crying wolf, it's a great idea not to go about wearing a wolfskin oneself. Capiche?

Sorry to be graphic... but does it take any thought if you see a "dog turd" on the ground to NOT think it would NOT taste good?

If you want to think about something... think about that. Some things, you don't even have to think about, to know they... "stink" (pun intended) :D

If we ever did see Venom, wouldn't it be great if we saw someone, oh, I dunno.... someone like THIS

....cast in the role, you know, someone intimidating, someone who might actually make you nervous at the thought of them losing their temper? Maybe that's just me.

... I have to agree.... this guy looks fearsome..... he has that look my DAD had when I was 6, when I did something wrong and my Dad didn't say a damn thing...... just gave me that look ...and you knew.... straighten that $h!+ up or that's your A$$....

I don't see that in Topher.......... maybe he will be Chameleon

Oh sweet! That's the dude who's gonna play Juggernaut in X3!

What would happen if the symbiote attached itself to Sandman. What would be crazy. Sand Venom

Did you think of that all by yourself?

Lay of the Angel Dust, would you?

It sounds like Spider-Man's costume will be black which leads the way for the symbonite from the costume news and I think that Topher Grace will be playing Venom.

Where does it say Spidey's costume is black?

Actually....nobody knows yet!

Yes but symbiotica, Larry Legend, Gladiator, Spider-Jide, and Doom don't have to follow me everywhere I go with the same exact harassing statements. If I make up one comment, somebody brigns up everything I ever said on these boards that they didn't agree with, even when it has nothing to do with the thread they are posting in. You can not deny this happens. Go the Sandman's origin thread if you don't believe me. A total thread shot to crap!

that's because you have know your whole life what it smells like. The thought of how disgusting it is actually has probably entered your brain over a thousand times while you were under the age of 10 alone. Not to mention every time somebody farted. Your brain links taste and smell together.
So technically your example only reinforced my statement. You can't think something without thinking about it. It's not feasibly possible. Knowing something is a thought.

I have had a dramatic change in opinion on Topher Grace. Before I said that Topher was "acceptable" as Eddie Brock/ Venom, that given a good script and proper execution of the character we would see a great Venom.

But then today came along...............

I was flicking through my Sky Digital, and nothing was on.........except That 70's Show. I decided it would be a laugh to watch a series I hadn't watched since I was a young teen and to analyse our potential Eddie Brock.

There and then the Fear of God was struck in me. I don't know what it was, but watching Topher Grace made me go pale in the face. I tried to imagine him playing the physcotic Eddie Brock and I just...........couldn't. I tried to imagine him, right there and then, with the symbiote engulfing him and I felt nothing.

Admittedly I haven't seen any of Topher's films so I can't judge on his versatility as an actor, but I just can't accept Topher as Eddie any longer. It just feels like an injustice to the character and a "teeny bopper" move.

Here's hoping I will get to see Topher as my preferred choice, the Hobgoblin.

Spider-Man 4

1)-----Optional; Have symbiote Bond with Brock Now(Lets have Brock screaming like a lunatic in pain, as memories of Spidey embrassing Brock, all the bad moments in Brocks life come back to him in a flash)

2) The film now is Spider-Man vs Venom

And for the two films, you can have fun with all the other junk such as more development with Peter and Mary Jane, Aunt May, Jonah and little John Jameson and the rest of the happy friends. And prehaps any other villain set-ups and whatnot.

ARE YOU CRAZY?!?! How many years ago was Spiderman 2???? It's been such a long time ago!!! I aint going to be waiting another 3-4 years for Spiderman 4... Before we even SEE another Venom.
No ways, I say VENOM NOW.. I mean there are so many fans speculating and talking about this so much.. That it would be crazy for the film Makers to have them wait another 4 years! That would be cruel!!!!

Anyways- next idea..

My 2 cents: Joaquin Phoenix should play Eddie Brock/ Venom. He is an awesome actor, and he deserves a role like Venom. He'd be hard to kill too! Anybody agree?
