Homecoming The Villains Thread

Kraven/Mysterio for the main villain. Either one makes me happy.

I'm surprised I haven't seen a mention of Black Cat here considering we have Felicia in ASM2.

I see her carrying out recruitment and other endeavors while Harry is incarcerated in Ravenscroft.

I'm all for seeing the Black Cat. She'd be a great way to bring back Peter's mojo with her flirty, non-serious type relationship. I just don't think I would count her as a villain but I guess that depends on how they write her into the story. She could start out seemingly like one of the villains only to be enamored with Spidey and team up with him as we've witnessed from her various incarnations. Even if she did become a 'villain' per se, I certainly doubt she'd be a/the main antagonist.

-Venom's arc really needs to be spread out over two movies. I think he would be a great villain for the Sinister 6 film, using the story where he turns on the 6.

I don't want to see his face when he is in the costume. But most likely it will be something like this:

I'd love to see Kraven the Hunter on the silver screen (finally). It would be pretty damn epic, imo, especially if done right. I think it'd offer a new aesthetic & feeling that the series hasn't had before.

So would Mysterio or even someone like Scorpion. Bottom line, Spider-Man has too many villains for them to continue to put the same ones center stage every time. It gets boring fast.

Kraven / Chameleon/ Hammerhead / Sin-Eater

Basically I'd write some Spidey against the mob (Hammerhead) story. They become desperate so hire these two brothers - assassins called Kraven and Chameleon.

I want them to go with villians that are essentially human so you can have character moments that can be shot 'in camera' and wont cost a fortune in CG

Although I would rather to see Mysterio as the solo villain in a future Spider-Man movie.

The more I've thought about this the more I'd like to see Venom or Carnage. It would be nice to see Venom & the symbiote storyline properly adapted on the big screen & it would be a welcome reprieve from the Green Goblin storylines. Plus, you'd still be able to throw other villains in there & keep things interesting.
