The Dark Knight The Virals Are Officially Over ...OK, Maybe Not So Officially

I loved every second of the virals (with the exception of the pizza fiasco LOL). The phone calls, the emails, the swag, and the rush of excitement I'd get every time my joke rphone went off was just a blast! I met so many cool people on these boards because of this game and it's just been an amazing ride.

Thanks 42!

Hi guys, I just wanna say thanks for a great time :). And I hope to see you guys for batman 3! I tried my best to figure some of these out, but alas I'm not bruce wayne, so im not that great of a detective. I sat there majority of the time typing whysoserious.com/(insert) random word here, and every single thing I'd study the source code. However many of you came through so I'd like to say thank you for helping us noobs along!

If the virals are over then why is the Harvery Dent episode of Gotham Tonight being advertised as being on Comcast?

I don't think it's quite done yet, but I could be wrong...

Plus the fact of the GNB bag with the swag...there may possibly be another hunt. Key word possibly but I don't think everyone has gone through all the jokerized material yet, we have been caught up in the glory of our tickets.

What if the viral isn't officially over yet?

That's still a possibility. I don't see them only rewarding the people who lived near one of the theaters and were able to get tickets in the 30 seconds before they sold out. It's great that they get to see TDK early, but to just end the game here would leave out a lot of people who were following this closely.

Shame about no UK free viewing (rah rah rah rah) but as i got my opening night IMAX tickets for London am happy for you guys...... I reckon that could have just been the end of the Joker virals though

Anyone got a youtube link for the new GT?

EDIT: I can't shpell

With the ticket orders they DID take our address one more time....and they must have a pretty sizeable database already from which to work, no?

Hmm...

I was curious about that, why do they need our addresses? I was thinking maybe they would be mailing tickets, but we were instructed to print the tickets onscreen and bring. Maybe they'll be sending us something else...?

*Crosses fingers and feels guilty for greediness*

They needed our address for the prologue. I think they just need to do it.

Oh how I loved these viral games since the San Diego Con.....I think I found this website from the reveal of the original Joker pic and the ensuing emails.

It's been fun people, certainly helped the year go by fast waiting for this excellent movie.:yay:

And I certainly love these forums, the best people and atmosphere here than other places, I am glad to be here.

The rickrolling, the philosophical arguments on archaic comic book notions, the waiting, the leaked trailers and pics, the bannings, reports from the movie set, the games.... it's been fun hanging out here.

My guess is that they took them for comparison to your photo ID.

Well if they are over I've had a blast! I've made a lot of friends on here and other Batman forums. I became the envy of my friends since I got the GA cake phone and other Joker swag like goon masks and a Joker card. Trust me, a shadowbox is going to be made.

Gosh....now what am I suppose to do? All these months of coming on here to see what new things the Joker was stirring up and the CFB stuff, Gordon...it was so much fun. I feel like it finally paid off, for me anyways, each time there was like package pick up for whatever in my city I was always too slow and now I will be able to see TDK on Tuesday. Amazing. Most fun I've ever had.

i wish they wernt over but what are they gonna do with only a week left....unless they decide to go to Harvey and end up revealing two face. but if they are over then i guess its on to the res2 viral, even though its not gonna be the same.

I read somewhere that they were asking for our address to send us one last bomb-diggity piece of TDK swag. Don't know if its true or not, but hell, that would be awesome.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to 42E and WB, for the coolest cinematic experience of my life. I will never forget this.

It feels just like Hetfet.org did. we finished the secret device, and that was it, I hope there is one last hurrah, but I doubt it, and I have to thank 42E for the time of my life.

It's worth noting that if there's any problem/piracy at any of the shows WB has ALL of your contact info. Maybe not your invitee's info, but they've got you. :cwink:

I'd like it if it was more swag to spread around, though. Those without tickets just aren't feeling the love as much today. Can't say I blame them.

So its over huh? Man this viral campaign was amazing. It actually made me smarter. This was an amazing one. I can't wait for the third batman movie viral campaign. I want to see Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy again.

I got some Harvey Dent Swag so im happy.

See you all next viral campaign, or when we talk about how awesome the movie was!
