Exactly, it's one of the most important parts of the books. It needs to happen.

And it'll be an extra kick in the pants considering Shane gave Carl shooting lessons

Even if Frank was never fired he would eventually die. As its been said it is one of the more important parts of the story. So him dying sooner then later would be rather anticlimatic because everyone is waiting for that death. I hope that death is someone who is not supposed to die

I don't know. I feel like without Shane the show will lose one of its best elements. Shane is one of the best and most interesting characters on The Walking Dead and it would all seem more empty as a result. Then again, if he sticks around for too long, then they'll lose steam concerning the inevitable Rick vs. Shane clash.

Dude, the vast majority of viewers of this show have never read the comic and would not view at as amticlimactic but shocking.

As much as I agree with this, how hard would it be to literally write the rest of the characters as interesting once shane left.....you know like the book.

I've warmed up to the fun Shane brings being alive and all. But this idea that he's saving the show is a forced one. For example, T dawg and his 2 lines per episode and Carol and her sad eyes and that's all. This style of writing is turning Shane into a hero among viewers. Once he's gone I'm sure they wouldn't keep it up.

Exactly. If the reaction to Game of Thrones' penultimate episode told us anything, it's that the general audience doesn't know **** about source material.

Sadly, I think it's Andrea that's going to bite the dust.

Ausiello reported a Blind Item a while back saying that a cable tv show was going to be killing off one of it's female characters, plus his little mention of 20/20 at the beginning of the article kinda seems like it's hinting at Andrea and her perfect aim.

Plus rumor is that the person leaving was close to Darabont and Laurie Holden and Jeffrey DeMunn (Dale) have been in a ton of Darabont projects.

Scratch the "female character dying in a cable show" part, Ausiello says that's happening on a TV show's episode that airs within the next seven days and I doubt any characters on this show are going to bite it this Sunday.

Still have a sucky feeling that it's going to be Andrea though based on those cheeky 20/20 and perfect vision comments.

oh I know what that Ausiello guy is talking about and it's not Andrea. Check the last few pages for that spoiler pic.

Oh I already know that Sophia is going to die but I doubt he's considering that a major female character death. From what I'm gathering, the cable tv female death may be referring to Sons of Anarchy.

It's Shane my friends.

Carl is going to bust a cap in his ass.

I would say yes, but that's more a storyline thing, it wouldn't be necessary to announce, esp since a lot of fans know Shane's character should have been dead already. That would just be convenience.

Esp since we know Carol/Dale/Lori/Baby die much later in the comics.

^ Uh, I'd spoiler tag that last part in your post since a lot of people here haven't read the comic series.

Decent episode. At least better than the previous ones. I hope they wrap up the "missing Sophia" storyline before going on a break, because it's getting a bit tiresome.

I've read it like 6 times already on this forum and half the others on the net.

That just seems ridic. Like, that would **** up the ENTIRE thing. Why not just replace her charcter with another actress. who would really give a ****?

I've lost interest in this show, too many changes. I'll stick to the comic from now on.

I find it interesting when people say this. I read the comics after the first season. But honestly, I feel like the comic really isn't any better. I really got no enjoyment out the comic what so ever. And honestly, the show isn't really THAT good. It has it's moments. and boy when it does... it DOES. But overall, the show is actually just as ridic as the comics.

It's too bad you feel that way. I think the comic is miles above the show.

Also some people find it difficult to get into the comic, there's a lot of dialogue to read.
