You do know that once they find Sophia they leave the farm, right? The quicker they find her, the sooner Hershel, Maggie, the barn, and everything that's been developing this season is out of the picture.

umm
[BLACKOUT]Everyone(that survives) leaves the barn together.[/BLACKOUT]

obvious really.

The women in this series are designed to be hated lol.
All except one and she hasn't shown up yet.

Another great episode, it's slowly becoming better and better with every episode.
As for people b****** about Andrea, there will be a good payoff at least by the end of the season and I highly doubt she gets killed in this season or any of the future seasons.

When Daryl got shot and it went to commercial, I was like "NOOOOOO!" If Andrea had killed him, I would've considered not watching again haha. Great episode though. Daryl is even more awesome now.

Why would that girl agree with Glen to have sex in the barn knowing they were zombies out there?

I don't think she read the note. That's why, when she did, she rushed out there.

Was just watching the replay again, the bombing of Atlanta was a pretty cool scene.

i think after tonite's episode, Daryl has not become my favorite character

hopefully his brother shows up again. i mean, they have to and not in "imaginary" form. he managed to escape from the rooftop even though he lost his hand in the process.

I quite liked this episode, hertschel seemingly more "messed" up than originally thought.

Although I think the current search for Sophia is good in terms of learning how different characters view different things. (Great from a character development point of view.) I just don't find it doesn't seem..all that troublesome..and honestly feels like more than half of them couldn't give a rats bum.

And I'm not saying the "Shanes". But just in general, sure they mention there support..but thats all fine and dandy there's no urgency, no real...disbelief.
Hell, even the mother has stopped crying and is just like "Meh, I'll wait at camp."

I think its a poorly executed plot, and like many others I will be happy when its finished.

On the producer note with Frank leaving the show. It's really sad they cut the spending on the show. I think it was way to early to do that, and if anything the second season should of had a bigger budget given the success of the first one. If anything you cut the 3rd or 4th, to make sure the director is thinking more of the story than the cool effects.

I'm hoping the Daryl/Andrea relationship is strained and shows, I'd feel like an idiot if I was Andrea, and if I was daryl I'd make sure she knows that.

For the love of god..please find sophia..please.

Zombies in the barn oh sweet crap:wow:

Because **** happens that hasn't happened yet. If they had found her or given up before that point they'd leave alone.

I have a feeling Hershel's going to get an epic death. He just has that face.

The interesting thing about Andrea taking that shot, is that that's not even the worst thing that could have happened. She's not trained and she's firing a riffle into a group of her friends a football field away. Gee, what could go wrong.

Luckily they have medic and good base around, without that, we're losing out on some much needed tension(what would Rick have done about his son...really). In the book when people get injured on the road, it's either cauterize or nothing. Hershel makes a good point, how do these people survive as long as they have, not only does trouble follow them around(for our benefit), but they're like the Seinfeld four, selfish idiotic drama queens. Hershel probably thinks he was doing fine before these morons showed up(can't wait till he finds out otherwise).

I'm starting to dig the role Rick plays. Without him they're lost, in more ways than one.

I don't know, by the looks of your statement it just seemed like you were coming at it from an in the know type of angle. Those in the know, I would think would believe otherwise. Organically however, you do have a point considering what was said by Hershel. Though Maggie would argue otherwise.

Moreover I'm personally tired of people walking the woods talking about crap, finding a clue and then walking back. At least this episode they clued in and made Daryls walk some dramatic flair and useful. Otherwise, I feel they really should move on.

Loved the episode.

Opening sequence with the napalm-ing of Atlanta was very cool.

The Daryle stuff was great and I nearly went ape **** when Andrea shot him.

Also like how all of the tension between Rick and Shane is bubbling to the surface.

Most awkward moment:

Glen: "Anyone know how to play guitar? Dale found a really awesome one up on the highway. Someone's got to know how to play?"

Hershel: "Otis did. He was pretty good too."

The barn!

I can only hope Shane reveals what he did(to otis) to the group. Now that will be wonderful. What will Rick say(in hindsight)...Lori even...Carl?

Haha, the dinner scene was so damn tense. I was just waiting for someone to flip out.

I'm all for finding lost children, but if I were Rick and I nearly lost my child and my bad ass redneck in the search for her, I'd just call it quits.

Yes.............I would have moved on already. She's probably dead already and I don't understand why they are risking lives looking for her when more than likely she's dead.

I think there is something Shane and many posters are missing. Humans are an endangered species. Every person they lose brings the race closer to extinction. How many survivors can they afford to just write-off? The same goes for Lori's baby. People are saying that it irresponsible of her to keep it. If you look at the big picture, survival of the species is paramount. To survive as a species there needs to be as many humans as possible.

In addition, Shane thinks they are actually safer on the road? They are hunted and in danger no matter where they go. In the woods it seems like the geeks are pretty sparse compared to the packs on the road. I don't see them as being in much more danger now than they were before. At least until the little reveal in Green's barn :cwink:

What separates humans for all other creatures is that we rise above Darwinian mechanisms. Or at least live under the illusion that we do. To do what Shane does would be to live like a pack of dogs or something. What's next no more poetry because it doesn't serve the group any good. The goal should be to maintain their humanity, otherwise they really do become the walking dead. The baby is a bad idea though. Logically that stuff should only be happening when you can protect the mother and child better. Like if they stayed in the CDC for instance.

Maybe. Though they aren't exactly being hunted by any sort of group(yet) so why they would need to be on the move is lost on me. If anything a fortified camp(like a prison) may just be ideal.

True! but the baby is happening regardless if it a good idea or not. Are you suggesting they are better off terminating the pregnancy? Never a good idea for a species on the edge of extinction.

The satisfied look on Andrea's face after shooting Daryl just put the icing on the cup of rage I felt.

I hope the zombies ear going into Daryl's mouth when he got shot doesn't infect him. If Daryl dies the show will go downhill very quickly.

She was told repeatedly not to take the shot. Rick and the 3 other people had it covered.

Yeah, that was idiotic of her. But hey, the characters are flawed in one way or another. Seeing the preview clip of next week's episode looks like she is finally being reasonable.

Right, but that flaw was rage inducing. I am looking forward to Shane screaming at her and putting her in danger during their gun training next week though.
