So this may be considered blasphemy but I am not quite in love with this show yet. Its solid but, for all the acclaim i'm hearing about it....I just do not see it yet. Its very slowly paced and it just hasn't grabbed me yet. I'm thinking that maybe my being caught up with the books is maybe tainting my viewing experience but I dunno. Again, i'm sure it'll most likely pick up and get better but for all this high acclaim, people are making it seem like its the best thing since Breaking Bad.

Nothing is better than Breaking Bad, nothing. :o

Bad is good at what it does but that's not to say that nothings better than it. A similar show but with none of pacing issues Bad presents was the Wire.

BB certainly has some of the best acting on tv

Anyone that hates Dale is just wrong. There's really no getting around it.

Dale is omnipotent. One wrong look and he'll know what you're lying about

I like Dale. He may be a busy body but the guy always has the best intentions and always looks out for others.

eh, it's from the comic. It's not really a spoiler but i'm hoping to god it happens! :cmad:

It may be in the comics but not everybody has read the comics. So providing likely plot points is indeed spoilers.

Another great episode. I love everything with Glen and Maggie. The showdown between Dale and Shane was great. I thought it was out of left field, but shows you how sharp Dale is, to know something was up with Shane's story about Otis.

I find how quickly people heal on this show really irksome given how little time has passed. Rick waking up from his coma, Shane and his ankle, T-Dawg from his infection, and Carl from the gun shot.

Just random..The one thing that really bugs me (but would not those who have not red the comic). Andrea is supposed to be like mid 20's (26 or so).. but in the show she looks like she is 40 (at least), just took a look at a web page and they are saying she is 36

I guess it overly bugs me because she is acting like a goof (being nice here). I could see some of her decision making does not fit with her characters age... they make her seem, inexperienced in life with poor decision making skills.. ok.. I wont rant.. sorry.. (just bugs me..)

The reason she is acting funny is two things, the world went to s*** (that's a given) and she just lost her only sister and she couldn't do anything to stop it. She's been in this grieving mode for some time now and it's changing ever since she is learning how to protect herself with firearms. Granted yeah she does stupid sh** but people react different when they lose someone or something very close to them.

I am happy with the Sophia outcome. I can only hope that Carol will be present to see this

I only wish that things could have turned out differently so we wouldn't have to hear Rick complain & feel guilty about all the things he could have done different to have saved her for the rest of the season.

This. Breaking Bad ruined pretty much all TV for me. It's so f**king good and few shows can hold their own against it.

Season 2 has definitely followed Season 1 in the sense that they both started incredibly strong and have weakened slightly in subsequent episodes. There have been some great moments and I am still loving the show but I understand how some people are scratching their heads. Dale seems to be omniscient; Sophia has been missing for an ungodly amount of time; the approach the group took to the well zombie was idiotic; I thought firing guns attracted zombies, so target practice, especially so close to the farm seems both dangerous and like a waste of ammo; and why bother feeding the zombies? They're dead anyway...maybe to keep them calm?

Anyway, minor nitpicks aside, as many shows do have some questionable writing moments, S2 has been enjoyable so far with some amazing moments. Here's hoping they can deliver next Sunday.

Meh. There are quite a few shows on USA and Castle on ABC that I'd pit against ANYTHING on TV.

I know! it sucks when a show deliverers something so good you can't help but to compare it to other shows. And I hate people who do that.

Wasnt Gus supposed to guest star as a zombie? I thought I heard that rumor when the season finale of BB ended.

Pretty gross how Andrea was so turned on by killing zombies. Clearly they intend to have her become a sociopathic killer. I bet later on the series she gets tired of killing zombies and starts in on the crew.

She could learn a thing or two from Daryl not giving her **** for almost killing him. She should be ashamed at herself for treating Dale Da Gawd like crap for caring for her.

Yup her actions make perfect sense...even if I find it annoying.

Yea I don't really care for her character compared to the other main characters.

Carol and Daryl are gonna bang. So hard. :o

I can't believe Kirkman would sign off on such a weak transition of Rick admitting he knew about Lori sleeping with Shane.

Very disappointing.

well every one else is.... except Dale and T-Dog they only have each other.
What if Carol decides to off herself after seeing you know who as a you know what ?
Seem extremely likely considering her personality.

He didn't write the episode and I think Rick was to upset with the baby thing to really care at the moment...they will deal with it soon enough.

Then Daryl's **** will be there to console her.

I thought Rick's reaction to Lori cheating was written a lot better than the old cliched "husband exploding, shouting and generally going crazy on both parties" that we always get on drama series.

I actually think that a lot of men in real life would probably react more like Rick than the overly dramatic crap.
