I may hate Shane but that was pretty epic and The fact most of the group agreed to it shows that they are smart. Shane sounds like he is willing to kill Hershel to take the farm.

He didn't exactly leave them much of a choice when he broke open the doors. It was either take them out or stand there and get eaten.

Shane needs to die, though. It's pretty much undeniable as far as I'm concerned. :o

If Hershel survives the next episode I will be surprised

surprised the farms redshirts not even one bought it so far, I mean where do they go? The farm isn't that big, was something more important going on elsewhere on the farm?

They were there, just crying in the background.

Oh, what's that? We're supposed to feel bad for the little girl? Brat did it to herself. The only one I feel sorry for in this is Carol as she one of the only slightly sympathetic characters left on this show and Sophia was the only family she had left, and I don't feel one bit sorry for some dumb brat who couldn't listen to any damn instructions to clearly save her life and then had to waste the first half of the season forcing the rest of the cast to try and chase her down, instead of having interesting plot lines.
wwwhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

It looked like Hershel was surprised to see her come out. I bet she went in there looking for shelter without knowing about the walkers and got attacked...that would make it even more tragic. :csad:

Yeah thats what I suspected happened

Yeah shocked none of them were killed yet.

So none of them thought it'd be a good idea to mention they put a little blonde girl in the barn when everyones been looking for a little blonde girl?

I like Shane's gangsta though. Looked back at Rick holding that zombie like an idiot, put a bullet in it, and went back to business.
That was pretty amusing make me like Shane a tiny bit

He's a bad guy, but how boring would this show be without him. It'd be like little house on the prairie.

The comic has done just fine. :o

It's true.. This show is mostly pure grade A crap. The snail pace. The constant Rick whining. Shane mostly being kept alive to cause unnecessary drama. Lori's every episode pep talks to whiny baby Rick. Most of the other survivors being just as annoying.

There's maybe 4 characters on the show that you can actually care for. One of the fundamentals of a good TV series is having enjoyable characters and plotlines. This show doesn't have one at all with the snail pace that they focus on one thing for 6 episodes. And the other they are severely lacking in.

Best thing about this finale. Cements the series is going in its own direction, i.e. not 100% following the comics.

The comics way different from the show. Shane is like the "the Situation" of the walking dead. A necessary evil.

Using a comparison with anything having to do with Jersey Shore won't help arguments against the show.

Yes! What a great mid-season finale. Loving Shane right now.

wwwhhhhhaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

You read it right. This waste of a plotline which the majority of the audience could probably see the ending to turned the first half of the season into a waste of time save for a few small points, instead of trying to make things more interesting instead of doing the old, "filler, filler, filler, make the last ten minutes interesting" trick.

What Shane did tonight was agressive? Yes, we found [blackout]Sophia[/blackout], but Shane keeps saying that Rick doesn't make hard decisions.........

That is incorrect......

Rick makes harder decisions than Shane. Shane makes easy decisions. It's easy to go and scare to get what you want like what happened tonight, but his actions are not peaceful.......... and it's going to "backfire" at him soon......

Pretty much, while I'm kinda pissed what they did in this episode it makes for a better show.

Who's arguing against the show? Just saying Shane helps keep it good.

In this show ? Yeah almost everyone sounds good
Everyone but Glenn, Maggie, Daryl, Carol, T-Bone, and Carl should really be killed on this show. And the last two are because they are a kid and the other you barely know enough about to hate either way.

I think he's an annoying element to the show. He's been kept alive to constantly add drama. And not even interesting drama. It's mostly just drama to prolong and draw out his inevitable death.

Man, I read the spoiler, but it didn't dawn on me Sophia would be in the barn until Shane started opening the barn. I was like Holy Crap! Watch her be in the barn.

I found it heart breaking for the mom. :csad:
