I liked the bit with the zombie trying to get at Lori through the windshield and seeing his cheeks tear apart from his face. Really nice effects and makeup.

Yeah that was pretty awesome, also was nice to see Lori finally kill some zombies lol.

Shane is a selfish prick. You see in the last episode several instances where he is selfish. He lied to Lori to get her back, basically saying **** Rick, Hershel and Glenn.

Wait...so you are suggesting that if three armed and trained men were missing in action in a world gone to hell...then the RIGHT decision is to send a pregnant woman who just suffered a severe head injury out to find them??? What could she possibly do to save them with her half empty pistol?

Shane lied to her and brought her home because he knew that
1. She was in no position to save anyone. He even volunteered to go after them, and when daylight came he assembled a team and was going to save them.

2. She would actually put them at MORE risk, since she was already injured and almost out of bullets, and was nowhere near shelter...the men she intended to save would have to put themselves in more danger to save her.

Shane's way involves the community surviving...the other way involves everyone being dead.

Exactly.

He might not always express himself in the best way but like I said before he's usually right.

Rick and Shane are necessary elements that have kept the group alive up to this point.

Good episode last night. I don't get why everyone was upset at Shane for lying to Lori about Rick being back. I would have done the same thing and I'm sure Rick would agree with what Shane did. The standoff was pretty awesome. This was another episode that showcased how much of a badass Rick is!

Dale has been looking for a reason to kill Shane since he found out Andrea shagged him

All I have to say is this group probably would be a whole lot better off without Lori.

Well someone better die so this thread won't just be about Shane and if what he did was right or wrong =P

I would die to see what would happen if there was a cliff hanger in the next episode implying Rick was dead...:awesome:

cant belive that most people are happy with the season so far. the walking dead is one of the most weakest shows ever. i mean you have several characters in this show that are just useless. on the other hand there are so many cliches in this show. there is almost no character development. you always have the same people pushing the show..rick, shane, lori and herschel so far. the others are just there but without meaning...

And yet you continue to watch it.:whatever:

So you focus on the one thing (Shane's actions involving Lori), and completely ignore everyone reminding you that you are essentially supporting a psychotic.

You keep talking about "Shane's way is safer for everybody," yet have yet to refute the assessment that if it somehow became true that killing everyone else in front of Lori will actually impress her instead of drive her away, Shane wouldn't hesitate for a second to do it.

Also, you have yet to prove to us that Shane wouldn't throw everyone else in front of the zombies to save himself and Lori.

How the **** is Shane "safer" for the group again?

I know it's not 'spoilers' as such for those who've read the books, but putting it in tags just in case any one doesn't like it.....

I just hope everything that's happening will lead to Shane's death. But to me, it's essential that Carl kills him - like in the book. It's a huge part of the character development. Needs to happen. Shane's either stood over Rick with a gun, telling him how 'Lori was happy with him, and Carl was his, and now he has his own kid on the way with Lori, he needs it and won't let Rick spoil it.' Cue Carl shooting him...... End of season 2.

I hope most people agree?

I do, i really hope that happens the end of this season, it would be an awesome way to end it.

Definitely. It's also the logical place to go. Shane's going more off the rails, and the group isn't 'big enough' for the two of them. One's gotta go, and Shane drawing his gun on Rick would also show everyone else who he truly is.

If it goes down like that, I'd have no problem with it, but I'm open to something new leading to that event. [BLACKOUT] Dale totally deserves the shot, the way he's been treated all of this season, it would put some balls back on the character.[/BLACKOUT] And Carl, well as the actor continues to grow up in real life and looking less and less like comicbook Carl, we'll see how long they stick with that, don't want another Walt situation.

why cant lori just DIE

Shane really is nuts,he's really going off the deep end. There is no way in hell
I'd want shane as leader of this group.

Rick should have just left randall and his messed up leg on the gate, Rick the guy was trying to kill you a few minutes earlier. Leave that mofo on the gate...or if you wanted to "save" him. Bullet to the head

This episode clearly states (in Shane and Lori's talk) Shane's motivation, and it has nothing to do with the group's survival. Dale pretty much has him sized up. Andrea is judging his means, but doesn't realize his end.......yet......... She is about using Shane's actions but solely for the group's survival. Could she be the dark horse candidate to do the deed(eliminate Shane) for the good of all.

What about Lori urging Rick to basically kill Shane. Was Shane correct, does Lori love Shane, and the only way she can escape that guilt, is if Shane is dead, and the best way to have that done is to play on Rick to be the "alpha" male.

Hopefully Daryl comes out of his..........whatever.

So a bullet ricochet's behind Glenn, and he immediately thinks of Maggie....just a bit too contrived to create a story between them...IMO.

Just a survival thing, but why don't these people use radios to keep in touch?

i'm not pissed that he lied to Lori to get her back. I'm pissed that Shane intentionally wants Rick dead, so he is in no rush to get Rick back, he rather wait until morning. Not everybody in the group is a leader. You can tell how happy Shane is the way he sits at the head of the supper table, he is a prick

In Randall's mind, Rick and his group just killed two people in their group. So, to Randall, Rick and his group are bad people. If you were Randall, you would think the same thing. It's only until Randall's group leaves him and Rick saves him that he probably realizes that Rick is a good guy.

But what Rick & co did was self defense. The other guys did shoot first & had the intention of killing Rick & friends only left due to the Zombies arriving
