I looked. Nothing really special, and most of it is stuff we've seen on commercials.

the pics are from the teaser shown during tonights episode...lol take it easy guys

yeah, after the awesomeness that is the second half of season 2, I'm finally gonna get around to reading the comics. Amazon, here I come.

Is weak looked they don't Spoil much except maybe who makes it......Eve will be happy =P

That was a fail...

Carl is suppose to kill Shane, and become cold on his own. Not have Rick tell him, "everyone dies".

Supposedly we get no more spoilers or teasers because the finale is pretty graphic. It's gonna be a long week.

Sneak Peek Episode 213 The Walking Dead: Beside The Dying Fire

I have to say
I really enjoyed that Rick was the one that killed Shane. My favorite part of the second half of this 2nd season is the "surprise" Rick badass moments. They're also the reason I believe Rick really is the best leader for the group, because he's smarter. I mean, heck, Rick emotionally manipulated Shane into a vulnerable position. I think that was my favorite part of the entire ending moment. The second Shane turned the gun on him Rick was never going to actually try and have them both walk back. He made the decision to kill Shane, and he responded in the way Shane expected him to in order to get the upper hand. That was impressive.
I love how they show Rick's right hand reaching behind his back for the knife to take Shane out. Absolutely great.

While I agree that Carl killing a living and breathing Shane would have been great, it just didn't make a lot of sense in the context of the TV series.

That is Hershel behind Lori in that pic right?

It would totally make sense. Carl needs to stick up for his dad, against a-hole Shane...

Now, Carl is a little b.

"We are the Walking Dead" Not that I'm happy about it though If it is what he said (Such a powerful moment in the comics) but it would make sense as a kinda Rick didn't know what he meant and there for wasn't being dumb.....He could have just assumed Jenner was being emo....he was committing suicide after all.
that would make since rick didnt understand what it meant at the time!

wonder just how tough a hand to hand fight with a freshly turned zombie Shane

Good episode apart from them taking away yet another character defined moment. Andrea lost hers last episode and now Carl loses his even though they changed it to zombie Shane instead of human Shane.

Carl has been confiding in Shane throughout the entire season and Shane is obviously a father figure to him just as much as Rick is. It would make no sense to see him kill Shane outright without conflict. It would be like killing one father to save another.

Comics. TV Series. Comics. TV Series.

I think some of you need to learn that there's a distinction.

I think some of you need to learn that there's a distinction.

There is, yes...

But, to the point were you're totally ruining important moments in the comics. Yes, it's cool to change things but having no Tyrese, sitting on the farm way way too long, not killing Shane right, Carl not being developed right, and Rick finding out about "walking dead" through CDC is very bad.

I think everyone knows the distinction, but like everything there are certain moments that should remain intact. Should it give them the right to kill off Rick just because its the tv series and not the comics?

No, I still believe this is a big distinction as well.

It's just like comic book/book adaptions...things are going to change.

No it is not...This is not a direct adaptation of the comics. The creator has said it from the start, therefore it is not very bad...The storytelling is different. Some things translate better on tv then in the comics.

Kirkman and Darabont said from the start there would be differences. If you don't like them, the comics are still great and you don't have to watch the show. I don't like the comic any less because Shane in the television show was killed by Rick. And I also don't like the show any less because they stayed on the farm for 12 episodes. Would I have wished for them to have left earlier? Sure, but there was likely production costs and logistics and the writers wanting to do more storylines that made the farm the main location this season.

No one thinks that this group sitting on the farm for 12 episodes was good or the whole Sophia thing taking forever. That's bad tv, even if they still killed Sophia but in a 2-3 episode arc, it would be solid and more "comic-like". They drag too much on this show. It's boring...

Please, change things but do them for the better. Not for the worse. That's the difference here. Nothing has been for the better, maybe we would be more open to change if it amazed us like the comics originally did.

Take Watchmen, say what you will about the film... but them changing the squid into a replicated Manhattan bomb was genius. A great change to a classic piece of literature. Or, The Prestige... for that matter.
