I don't know why Lori even got upset with Rick when he told her about killing Shane? Just a few episodes back she was talking about how dangerous he was, and then Rick says he tried to trap him and kill him, and Lori gets mad at Rick?

Lori: Hey Rick, I slept with Shane while we abandoned you.

Rick: Ok.

Lori: Thanks for being understandable about it, by the way, the baby could be Shane's...who knows?

Rick: Ok.

Lori: Thanks again for understanding about how bad I keep treating you. By the way, Shane tried to rape me at the CDC, and he wants to be with me, and raise the baby.

Rick: Hey, you were right, I thought you were just exaggerating. I had to kill Shane, cause he tried to lead me into a trap to kill me, just so he could sleep with you and be a father to our son/s.

Lori: Get away from me! It's like I don't even know you anymore!

:huh::huh::huh:

TVLINE | Lori’s disgust over Rick killing Shane confused me a little. Didn’t she just a few episodes ago all but order Rick to whack him?
A lot of that anger [she's expressing] could be directed at herself. I think she feels partially responsible for sending these two men on a path. That’s the moment where she found out that Shane was dead. And not only did she find out that Shane was dead, but her husband totally killed the guy! This was a family friend. This was a guy that used to come over on weekends and watch football in the house and things like that. It was a really emotional moment that is going to drive her a little batty. Having to handle those emotions and looking at the guy that kind of caused the situation, she’s not going to be considering, “Oh, yeah. I did this. I should calm down.” She has these emotions and she doesn’t know what to do with them.

From the mouth of Kirkman.

That's a pretty lame explanation, especially how a few episodes back she basically spelled it out to Rick that he's a threat and needs to be dealt with. Yes, a "family friend" who sleeps with his good buddies wife, while he abandons him in a hospital, who then tries to claim the baby as his, and then leads his "best friend who watches good 'ol football with him", into a trap to kill him and take over his family. Maybe she should be a bit grateful that her husband isn't dead. The emotions were left behind the day she told Rick Shane needs to be dealt with.

I dunno, that's just me, though.

That was a great episode and despite having the ending spoiled literally a couple hours before the premiere of the finale I still enjoyed it.

Great, great ending.

You act like all of that was intentional on Shanes part. Not as if he would know if his friend in a coma would wake up anytime soon while the world is ending and neither Shane/Lori expected to get to the point of sleeping together and developing feelings one way or another. Lori probably wouldve been dead if Shane stayed with Rick.

Really strong season finale. Has me very excited for season three. I love the dark place they've brought Rick to, how the group is pretty much against him and he's become angry and domineering.

I just sprinkled that point in there.

That still doesn't excuse him from sleeping with Rick's wife, and then trying to kill him so he can be with her. Rick knew he slept with her, and he tried making peace with it, but whatever. I still think that's a pretty weak excuse from the writers.

Trying to kill him ya, no excuse we all know that. But I could barely care for Lori anyway so she can do whatever and be as inconsistant as she wants.

By the way, who was the guy in the RV that got killed by zombies?

Sorry but whoever it was that said the actress playing Michonne is ugly is blind!

I think she's gorgeous!

Did know that person was a she, looked more like a big muscular guy standing there & that he would be making Andrea his sex slave next season.:o

Ya pretty much. I was like "who is this random guy?" I dont even remember EVER seeing him. The group is still a little to big so they couldve put T-dog or whatever her name is in that scene.

Wait, what? He was a part of Hershel's group?

I guess he was like the extras in the background of Lost?
His name was Jimmy, and he was the boyfriend of Beth. He had a couple of moments during the season, like when he asked to join the party that went out to look for Sophia. Other than that... yeah, essentially a redshirt.

I cried when Jimmy was taken from us. He was such a valuable and cherished character.

TWD season II in a nut shell...

Downfalls:

-Sophia wasting half of a season...
-Every character sucks but Daryl/Glenn/Hershel & Rick [somewhat]
-Teasing the helicopter this early, for no reason...
-Sophia
-No "We are The Walking Dead" line
-Lori being a B, annoying, and bipolar
-Rick looking like the bad-guy [and not in a Tyrese way]
-Losing Dale & THE RV [like really, What are they going to ram the G with now?]
-CDC loose end
-Sophia

Highlights:

-Rick Clint Eastwooding those 2 guys in the bar
-Hershel having an unlimited bullets cheat code
-Daryl
-Shane confrontation [even though I'm still mad Carl didn't outright kill him]
-MICHONNE
-2 seconds of the prison

S1 9/10 - S2 6/10

They are going to have to really turn it around this October. They also better not hold anything back, if the Governor is watered down any... I will cry.

I can;t wait to see Hershel kick ass in a garden. And, we better be getting Tyrese... Also, Axel. Axel will be awesome for this show. Plus, Glenn and Maggie better be having lots of "fun".

How excited are you for The Govenor to blast Lori?

If we're going by the comics, The Governor doesn't blast Lori and the baby, one of his flunkies does. Which in turn leads to The Governor's death, as his flunkie turns on him for making her kill a baby. But, I wouldn't mind seeing The Governor do it himself in the show, as it both gets rid of Lori, and establishes The Governor as a major threat. Win-win.

I loved the finale. Rick was a badass throughout the last half of season 2 and confirmed it during his speech in the finale. I honestly don't know what's up Lori or the rest of the gang's butts when they got upset at Rick. I would have shaked his hand and congratulated him for killing Shane if I was there.

Oh yeah... sorry. In "essence" he did it. I didn't mean, literally...

Maybe for the show, they will. Making it more personal.

It would seem like a more appropriate move for a TV show, having the main villain doing it. If it's just a random goon killing Lori, it kind of loses its lustre.
Also, what did you mean by saying there was a loose end from the time at the CDC? I thought every thread was tied up with the revelation of what Jenner whispered to Rick.

I thought it was a great finale. Lori annoyed me, but she is annoying anyway. I've completely turned around to Andrea, I like Maggie, I find Carol to be pathetic but sympathetic, and I know Michonne will turn around what has been an unlikeable female cast so far in season 3.

I do regret them not using Rick's famous line but maybe they are saving it since this episode was packed with so much other huge stuff.

Meaning "making it a loose end" and now solving it. Don;t like it...

Rick and everyone should have came to the realization through accident. Not being force-fed by Jenner and then "held" from the audience for a whole season...

Why even do the randall/two cop scenes if Rck was just going to confess it anyways?

So yeah, Andrea is officially becoming one of my favorite characters now. She is a complete badass now. I almost died when I saw Michonne, friggin amazing.

My list of characters I care/like the most to least:

Daryl
Herschel
Andrea
Glenn
Rick
Maggie
Carl
T-Dog
Carol
Lori
Herschel's youngest daughter

Season 3 I have so much hope for you!!
