So all those zombies got onto the farm by following that helicopter?

Well they would have bypassed the farm but then Carl had to shoot ZombieShane it turned them in their direction.

lol You people, I swear....... you all really look for any excuse to **** on Carl, don't you?

Because, you know, had Carl not shot Shane, Rick probably would've died.

Two dead redshirts or a dead Rick. The choice is yours.

Heh, this was a major part of World War Z, where they'd have roving herds of zombies at the bottom of the ocean, who would just all of a sudden start popping up on beaches and laying waste to the people there.

Again? HBO doesnt strike out on much.

We've seen since the pilot episode that they were able to turn door knobs.

they can get away with a good deal of violence and some mild profanity, but not nudity.

Would love for a World War Z tv series. Think it would do better as a tv show then movie series.

Rick was watching Shane, until Carl distracted Rick's attention away by pointing a pistol at him!

The very least Carl could do was finish Zombie Shane off. It's not like he was gonna say "Hey Dad, behind you..." anyway.

ETA: My Sarcasm Meter is finally beeping. So, we're on the same page now. I think...

Wait, so apparently his real name is Theodore Douglas. I say lets drop "T-Dog" and just call him Theo damn it!

What limitations, if any, does a channel like AMC have to show violence, profanity, or nudity?

It's part of the basic cable package and is not a channel you have to pay extra for like HBO so it does have a few restrictions but not many.

I know on one of the Talking Dead episodes they said that they don't try to tone any of the violence down when they film it, they just make it as bad as they think it needs to be and worry about the network later.

Considering that they've had characters walking around covered in zombie guts and a walker split in half and basically explode...I'm guessing the network is pretty lenient so far. Just hope they keep it that way.

I'm still wondering if they're going to go as far as
cut off Rick's hand.

I doubt it, but it would just show to the viewers how uncompromising the show is. Showing that nobody is safe. But you can show other ways too. They're pushing the violence for cable tv, and I want them to keep going. I really want people to see the shocking stuff in the comics, or if not, stuff just as shocking not in the comic.

Would be awesome to hear Hershell call him "T-Dawg"

I don't see why they wouldn't. It's a great shocker moment. And in terms of sfx, it's not like they'd have to give him some full-blown Lieutenant Dan treatment. Just keep the hand out of frame when they don't feel the need to cgi it out, but when it's necessary, slip a green sock over it. I say they go for it.

SyFy has "Lost Girl" a Canadian show rated TV-MA. Mostly for sexual stuff.

Red shirts are made to be eaten.

Made me think of this. Lol.

In the comics:

-How does Lori die?
-Why does Rick's hand get cut off?
-Is the sword girl a good guy?
-What happens at the prison?

Lori dies after running away from a gun fight with the Governor's people and Rick's group, she got shot as well as her new born baby, Judith.

Rick's hand gets cut off after the Governor tried asking where the prison is and Rick refused.

Sword girl is Michonne, who is Rick's new ally. She is a badass with a sword and is one of favorites from the comics.

What happens at the prison? scary s*** that involves murder, rape, and suicide.

waht the ****...major spoilers all over this **** from goldgoblin

This problem with cutting off Rick's hand is that it will make it extremely uncomfortable for Andrew Lincoln and would arguably not add much to the character. The plus side is, we'll be able to see Rick attach a chainsaw to the end of his stump so he can kill zombies with it.

A great second season and yet underwhelming season finale. It was just pointless. And what? Shane died and now Rick is the new Shane? Seriously?

No. Shane died and now Rick is the new Rick. :o

Pointless is the last word I would use to describe that finale.
