Okay. Seriously. This lag is just intolerable.

Lincoln looks so ****ing haggard. I really hope the characters get progressively more worn out-looking as the series goes on. By season 6, they'll all look like utter ****.

She looks....perfect. :woot:

That's one tough-looking *****! :awesome::up:

Perfect.

In the comics, Michonne is an unflinching warrior who proves to be powerful ally for Rick Grimes and the rest of the survivors. But how different will the onscreen version be? “The essence of the character — her personality, her motives, everything that makes Michonne Michonne — remains intact from the comics,” says Robert Kirkman (the creator of the comic and executive producer of the TV adaptation). “But like a lot of things on the show, there will be little tweaks and differences here and there. We saw that her introduction is slightly different from how it was in the comic, and her interaction with Andrea is really going to be a really cool addition to the character that I think will get television viewers up to speed, and they’ll get to know her a lot faster than comic book readers did.”

As for why they cast the relatively unknown Danai Gurira for the pivotal role, Kirkman says, “We looked at a lot of talented people that were really fantastic, but we were waiting for that one spark, that moment where everyone was completely in agreement and completely excited, and we felt like we had found the essence of this fictional character that just randomly appeared in another person, and that person was Danai Gurira. She kind of came in and really just blew us all away. She’s got incredible presence, and she’s got a theater background, and is very physical, and was just perfect for the role.”

Kirkman is equally enthusiastic about the big location setting for season 3, as Rick and company attempt to turn a prison into their new zombie-proof fortress. “It looks absolutely amazing,” gushes Kirkman. “They are shooting the hell out of this prison. It just looks absolutely stunning, and I think when people start seeing trailers and stuff for this season, I think people are just gonna be like, “Wait, what? This is what? I can’t believe this is a TV show!” It’s really creepy, really moody and it’s just gonna be really awesome.”

Lots of prison stuff.

Michonne looks perfect and I'm loving the sound of the stuff at the prison. Since Kirkman said there is more stuff from the comic here, hopefully they'll push television. Because I can't wait to see people who don't read the comics reactions to what's about to go down.

I will literally **** bricks when we get our first look at Morrisey as the Governor.

Now this I can't wait for.

I kind of doubt we're gonna get the long hair and handle bar mustache, but I'm still excited. Especially if it's a shot with him and Lincoln in it.

I can see them going either way on the handlebar mustache. The long hair is essential, though. He needs to have a sort of dirty hippie look about him.

She looks great as Michonne. Hopefully, it won't be long till we get an image of the Governor.

I think T-Dawg spoke more in that short clip than in both the season of the show. lol

Things are going to be crazy good in season 3. Can't wait!

It always shocks me to hear Andrew Lincoln speak in that weird way outside of the show. :P

Michonne looks great, hope she spends an entire episode swiping her sword around, if a walker walks into it, will be their own fault.

I'm wondering if the governor will cut Rick's hand just like in the comics.

I don't know that would work very well in the series. Lincoln would probably be forced to wear a green glove to show the appearance of a missing hand for the remainder of the series broadcast. The cutting off of Rick's hand is not so crucial to the story (so far that I've read anyway). I think that is a detail that could be skipped in the show and the plot wouldn't suffer.

My wife and I can't wait for season 3! The Walking Dead is the best action drama on TV. The actress who was cast for Michonne, certainly looks the part ( and she is hot... I agree). Hope she's a good actress. Don't want any weak links in the series to detract from the quality of what the cast and crew has been provide to us in the previous two seasons! CAN NOT WAIT!!!!
