I wonder if he reads what's thought of his character on the internet and how he takes it if he does.

Yeah.

I mean, yes, I know it'll be up online probably around the same time, but it's just the principle of the thing. It's just so underhanded.

AMC is run by dick bags.

Just record the show and fast forward through it. It likely won't air until the final commercial break anyways. Plus it will be up on AMC's site after the reality show airs.

They aired a scene with the Breaking Bad's premiere last year.

If they put it with BB again this year, you wouldn't hear a peep out of me. But "Small Town Security"? No no no.... :nono:

I watched the marathon, and, although it's kind of a rough show to binge on like that, because of its sheer and ever-escalating grimness, my appreciation for the show has skyrocketed. I actually wasn't watching during the second season - I didn't make the choice not to, I just lost track of it - but I appreciated the first much more this time around than I did initially, and the second was a huge improvement. If it's not a great show yet, it's a really, really good one. Can't wait for the third season in October.

Comic Book Men did okay ratings wise and The Pitch bombed on Mondays/Sundays so they have to go all out to ensure STS can produce at least CBM numbers. I think management sees what A&E does, cranking out new reality shows every month that do well and want a piece of that pie to go along with their dramas.

The Marathon, Talking Dead and the Black & White Pilot did well on a competitive Sunday in cable land against original programming, movies and other marathons.

Eight episodes finished in the top 100 cable programs on Sunday along with Talking Dead's 1 hour episode.

I've been wondering, and I don't think any of us have asked, but since Mazarra has said that the prison arc will probably be two seasons, where do you guys think S3 might end? Or will it be completely original to the TV series?

Just read issue 100. For obvious reasons, I'm not going to say anything close to specific in here, but my God.... I'm honestly distraught right now. :csad:

a lot of people feel the same way. I read it and I was......more pissed then sad.

I think with The Gov intitally attacking the prison starting with the Tyreese thing. They could stretch it, and have it possibly end at the mid-season break of S4.

I was watching the Attack of the Show the other day (just changing channels) and caught a interview with Robert Kirkman who said regarding the premiere :

Someone dies at the end and he shed a tear.

I have a deep gnawing feeling it'll be [blackout]Herschel[/blackout]. :csad:

I posted this in the Breaking Bad thread, but I figured it's relevant in here as well, especially if the AMC/Dish issue lasts until the Fall:

Dish Network dishes out free Roku 2 boxes due to AMC spat | Digital Trends

I just called Dish threatening to cancel and switch to local cable after reading that ^. They gave me:

-- A $10.50 discount on my bills for the next 6 months
-- A $35.00 credit so I can purchase Breaking Bad (the show I specifically called to complain about) from Amazon Videos and,
-- A Roku 2 box to stream from

This is what Dish gives us for essentially losing one channel. I wonder what DirecTV will give for losing several channels?

JUST NOTICED THAT YESTERDAY MY COMEDY CENTRAL GOT CUT OFF. I HAVE DIRECTV, ANYBODY KNOW WHAT OTHER CHANNELS ARE GONNA BE CUT SOON?

IM IN A CONTRACT BUT IM GONNA USE THIS TO GET OUT OF IT AND SWITCH OVER TO ATT U-VERSE

DIRECTV IS GONNA ASK WHAT THEY CAN DO TO STOP ME FROM SWITCHING BUT SHORT OF GETTING ALL THE CHANNELS BACK THERE'S NOT MUCH THEY CAN DO LOL

AT LEAST NOW I'LL BE ABLE TO GET G4 AGAIN

-DOOM :doom:

Call DTV and tell them what Dish is doing for customers wanting AMC. Maybe they'll offer something similar.

ACTUALLY I'VE HAD IT UP TO HERE (holds hand up to top of head) WITH DIRECTV.

THIS WAS JUST THE LAST STRAW, I HAVE BEEN STUCK WITH THEM BECAUSE OF MY CONTRACT BUT IM HOPING THAT THIS TURN OF EVENTS WILL LET ME GET OUT OF IT

Nothing good is on G4 right now, even AOTS sucks because Kevin left.
