I thought the idea was the guy sacrificed himself and Glen would be alive underneath his chewed up corpse. Kind of like in WWI where men hid under dead bodies in the trenches to avoid detection from enemy sweeps.

I'm very much looking forward to next week's Morgan-centric ep. Been anticipating it since his cameo in the after credits scene of "No Sanctuary".
I really want to see it too. It will be hard going from this episode to that one for me but I've been looking forward to see what happened to him.

TPTB should be happy with themselves. The internet blew up tonight lol. Major buzz.

It almost makes sense except as some have pointed out he would still be exposed and still vulnerable to getting bitten anyways.

We'll have to wait at least a week to find out the truth though and maybe two weeks if next week is Morgan centric.

I can see that possibly working if it was someone as big as Otis that Glenn was underneath instead of Nicholas, but who knows.

F' Nicholas! Rick was right, they weren't ready, but they should have gotten them ready, everyone of them before going off. They needed to learn how to protect their home, hell Spencer couldn't even shoot a rifle with a damn scope on it.

Rick was too occupied with fixing the quarry filled with tons of walkers. He didn't have time to train 'em yet. Plus the tractor trailer fell. So they had to go live to draw the horde away from Alexandria.

Rosita, Abraham and Sasha should have stepped up trained everyone, even the kids. What a waste of an armory.

Assuming that guy is lying on top of Glenn, I think Glenn has only two ways out of this. Someone draws the walkers away, or maybe Glenn is able to roll under that rubbish bin (if there's a space under there).

The way they framed it though they want us to think he's dead. And he might be.

If he is, I predict it will be [BLACKOUT]Daryl[/BLACKOUT] who gets killed by Negan.

As much as I don't like it that Glenn is probably dead if Glenn didn't die or even get bitten out of all that, I'm calling major BS. Could it have been Nicholas's entrails? But how could Glen get out of that situation?

I'm assuming the entrails being shown are Nicholas's, but with the hoard of walkers, I can't imagine Glenn making it out alive unless there's someone else there to create a diversion before the zombies get to him.

On the flip side, though, Glenn and Nicholas DID start to fall sideways, so maybe Nicholas wasn't on top of him and those guts really are Glenn's?

So the actor of Glenn has been caught on set filming with characters that have not been introduced to the show yet. We'll see how that plays out ...

I hope next week isn't a 90 minute Morgan episode. He has me so pissed off at him right now.

Understandable. His decisions have frustrated me, but I'm still very much looking forward to his episode next week. Perhaps the episode will allow someone like you and myself to actually understand Morgan's motivations?

For me, I can totally disagree with a character's morals, but still grow to love them just by understanding why they are the way they are (take Rorschach from Watchmen, for example; he's crazy, but I understand WHY he turned out the way he turned out, which makes him fascinating and sympathetic to me).

Didn't they in a earlier episode cover themselves with walker blood and were able to get by them unscathed? Or am I thinking of something else? Maybe that's an option for Glenn assuming he's still alive?

I hope its a huge fake out. Wasn't prepared for this.

I was Sooo freaken pissed off.

stephen yuen wasn't on the talking dead plus glenn didn't feature in the 'in memoriam' segment. he's still alive for now.

I suspect Glen is alive, if anyone noticed that the dumpster they were on looked rather tall, if I had to guess Glen will crawl under there to escape, just speculation on my part.
Overall, I have loved this season and last nights episode, Morgan letting those wolves go from their attack on Alexandra only to run into the one guy you do not want to run into in Rick, lol, that was an intense scene, so much happened, plus never question rick, you will be eaten by a walker, that is what 2 in a row who had issues with Rick and both killed by walkers a few minutes later.

What if it is Negan who distracts the walkers :o

This is what I am hoping. He got disguised unintentionally in the meelee.

Unless Glenn's got intestines where his pectorals should be, I think those guts belonged to Nicholas.

Exactly. They were way up high and there was too much running blood to be just Glenn's.

Except that Glenn isn't covered in walker blood but fresh, warm human blood.

While the person getting ripped up is the guy on top of him I don't see how Glenn gets out unscathed...short of someone showing up with a machine gun and killing all the walkers.

Here's the thing for me...

I dont care if Glenn dies or not. I dont really feel attached to the character.

However if he is dead then that was a really f***ing corny way for them to make him go. I have to watch the scene again, but it didnt make sense to me at all.

BUT if Glenn is alive, I think that's a real cop out move. Even when the scene was happening i noticed that it was framed weird.

Which one do I think is more likely, I'm not sure. I think there's evidence on both sides. But the smarter and not as silly/stupid way would be to have him be dead.
