Good news about the renewal. This season has been great so far.

I wonder when that herd is going to storm Alexandria? They'll probably breach through that damaged part of the wall where the semi-truck crashed into.

By the midseason finale I'd wager (BTW am I the only one here who's not a fan of the whole midseason finale thing? I hate waiting three months for shows to return).

In the last scene, they just ate Nicholas who was on him and the Zombie didn't see him.
It isn't clever for the writers but I don't think it will be more complicated than that.

i highly doubt glenn is just going to serve as the platter for the full-course nicholas meal

if he survives, it'll be because he's either rescued or he found a way to maybe roll under that rubbish bin

I have a feeling we won't find out tomorrow

I read the advanced spoilers, no mention of Glenn but we'll be getting a solid episode.

They won't blow their proverbial load the next episode, even lesser shows don't do that. Make you sweat a couple eps.

id prefer the unnamed be dead, doing that with the body seems like a cop out and IMO invalidates their "no one is safe" mantra they've been bandying about

HAVE SOME BALLS KIRKMAN

DO IT

This was probably one of the best, if not the best episode of TWD that focused on one character. Morgan is one of the most interesting characters on the show so I knew this would be a good one. This will be a polarizing episode though because I'm sure that right now Twitter is aflame with "WTF WHAT HAPPENED TO GLENN?!?!"

I do think that they could have condensed it to one hour though.

I don't like the implication that the crazed black man needed to be imprisoned and shown the light by the enlightened white man

That thought never crossed my mind. I doubt anything was intended...

I really have to admit that I found this episode unnecessary. I think they're rationale for this was that we needed a really long explanation for Morgan's drastic change since Rick last saw him but I don't think we did. I think we were all able to draw some conclusions pretty easily: he met someone who helped him come back from the edge and taught him how to fight with a bo staff, and now he's against killing. That's pretty much it. Devoting 90 minutes of the show to this really just detracted from the main story. I'm not even talking about the whole Glenn thing. I'm talking about everything that's happening this season. Suddenly we're hit with a lull and we have to wait another week to see the aftermath of the Wolf attack.

Very compelling episode (“Here’s Not Here”) that was a great and even welcome breather and a change of pace between the chaotic rollercoaster of the previous 3 episodes. Gimple did an excellent job connecting the dots with Morgan. Featuring very strong performances from both Lennie James and John Carroll Lynch. I really felt for Eastman [BLACKOUT]and was sad when he (and Tabitha) bit the dust[/BLACKOUT]. I also found Eastman’s backstory very interesting and tragic. Always enjoy these TWD bottle episodes.

I think the Wolf (Morgan spared) is too far gone and beyond saving, but would love Morgan to prove me wrong.

 agreed

I share your thoughts EM! As do the critics. :woot:

So far, tonight's episode is my least favorite of the season. It was still a good episode, though ... Just not the adrenaline rush that was the past two episodes.

Morgan, though ... Dang. His decision at the end of the episode really pisses me off. Him not being able to kill that wolf doesn't bother me, really ... It's the fact that he locked him up in a house, and will probably keep that a secret. Dude might actually try to find more Wolves to put them there in hopes to "rehabilitate" or "help" them.

I get "having morals" and such. I get that killing shouldn't be the preferable thing to do ... But when push comes to shove, sometimes you HAVE to in this world if that means protecting the innocents.

While I did quite enjoy the character of Eastman, and while I feel that he helped Morgan in many ways ... I feel that he may have hurt Morgan in some other ways (I find Morgan to be painfully naive right now). Also, I found Eastman's death to be kind of dumb; all he had to do was use his stick against the walker instead of putting his body in between the walker and Morgan. I don't know ... I mean, I knew Eastman was going to die in this episode, but I feel like it could have been better handled.

Also, forgive my dark sense of humor ... I starting laughing really hard after Tabitha/the goat was eaten. At the end of the scene, some more of the goat's guts just plopped out in that short moment of silence before the next scene. The timing made it really funny to me ...

Anybody noticed Steven Yuen's name was absent during the opening credits?

Kinda dumb considering Sarah Wayne Callies name was there for the entirety of season 3.

Really leads me to believe something is up (i.e. they are trying to throw us off and he ain't dead.)
