The Walking Dead "The Walking Dead" General Stuff & Thaaaangs Thread - - - - Part 13

I hope that Codron just wandering off leaves the door open for him to return in some capacity in the third season. He's been a great antagonist-turned-ally.

Well, I did like the fighting rings in the Daryl show, so I'm curious to see how they'll be handled here.

The WGA directory says Dead City Season 3 is in the works. Seth Hoffman is now showrunner. He was a writer/co-ep on TWD seasons 4-6, and wrote Too Far Gone, The Distance, and No Way Out.

I just started the first season of DD last night. It's very The Last of Us so far.

I do like that, compared to Season 1, Dead City is able to just hit the ground running with Maggie and Negan in separate places. The drama with Maggie and Herschel is a little 'Been there, done that' by this point and that's my only issue so far. The moments with Negan in New York, though, I like so far.

Yeah, I'm still liking it. Dixon is better, but this is close. :)

Oh yes, Daryl Dixon is the superior show, in my opinion. It's crazy how much just a change of scenery makes things feel fresher.

Shame that we lost
Kim Coates, since Bruegel
was one of the best new characters to be introduced in this universe. Though, gotta say, his death was brutal, which I liked.

So the Daryl show ends after its fourth season. Dead City got a third season, which I wouldn't be surprised if it's the last one.

What does AMC plan to do when these shows wrap? Unless that's how the network intends to wrap up this Walking Dead universe. I don't think they will without everyone else learning that Rick is still alive, but I'm beyond sure that the general audience has moved on by now.

The Carol and Daryl show is far and away the best for me. They have the best chemistry. :)

Good premiere so far. Shame about
losing Stephen Merchant so soon. I really hoped he could stick around! But I'm glad he turned out to be a genuinely good man, and not someone who tried to double cross Daryl and Carol at some point.

And you know what? Daryl's been surviving on his own for so long that I absolutely believe he could MacGyver a solution for getting that metal out of Carol's back.
