WHAT IF? MARVEL RPG SIGN-UP FORM

Screen Name: Spideyssuperfan

Character you would like to play: The Invincible Iron Man aka Tony Stark

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English: Tony Stark was on a visit to Vietnam to see how his new mini-transistors could assist the American war effort and was caught in a booby trap. Dying from a piece of shrapnel lodged in his heart from the trap, Stark is pressed into building weapons for his captor. However, Stark uses the materials at hand to secretly design and construct a suit of powered armor — an iron exoskeleton -- that will not only keep Stark's heart beating, but also allows him to escape.

Abilities: I s'pose this depends on his armor... for the RPG, I'd love to be in the ablative armor. So....

- Flight
- Superhuman Strength
- On board AI
- Hand to hand combat skill
- Access to several weapons including (but not limited to) [Based off of Marvel: Ultimate Alliance / Recent Comics]:
- Nano Technology
- Unibeam
- Plasma firing apparatus
- Palm-Mounted repulsor beams
- High Frequency sonic noise emitter

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. Interested to see what might happen w/ the what if

2. Love Iron Man

3. Like the Civil War Story Line. (PS. is that taking place in this 'verse?)

What can you bring to this game?
A realistic perspective on how story lines would play out. Plus I'm sure that along the way I'll "accidentally" mis-use my iron-tastic powers; which will surely cause some action.


How many times do you intend on posting a DAY IN the RPG:
As many as possible/necessary. But high school may interfere!

WHAT IF? PROPOSAL(and explain why if you can): What if Stark had made an army of Iron Men for the government as part of a defense contract (keeping the best armor / upgrades for himself and iron man) and used the army in civil war?

Iron Man would never allow the goverment to use Iron Man tect, thats one of the points of his origin. You might aswell create a whole new character...Which is ok because thats the point of the RPG.

no, its ok! If he's right then I won't mind coming up with another one, I'm a creative dude, after all. I just thought it might be cool for stark to change his mind and he'd need to face an entire army of NPC iron men.
