hey, I've posted something so anyone can just latch on and meet mystique, then the fireworks begin....

Ok, I'm dropping Cap. I am going to take up a lower-profile character, probably Havok or Iceman. I wanna get in on this big fight, so cansomebody gimme a quick lowdown of what's going on? Thanks.

well xavier is in the jet with storm, controlling things, whilst beast, sctoo and mystique keep the X-men busy, until pietro goes in to complete the mission!

Yeah, sure, Vulcan is on the brotherhood(mags), and scott is on xaviers X-men, but scott will be leaving the x-men after this battle. So havoc would have some issues, but do what you want, within reason, and post an app

free reign, altho they were all a happy family at one point, until they grew apart, joining diff factions and so on, and as scott is leaving the x-men, joining up with Xavier would give some good conflict between havoc and vulcan. Maybe scott is getting beats, then in jumps havoc to help? Although scott is gonna appear to get vapourised soon, so that would give some tension...

WHAT IF? PROPOSAL(and explain why if you can): After the separation of his family, Alex refused to acknowledge his fast-emerging abilties and fled to Hawaii. There, his powers finally overwhelmed him and he unwillingly killed several people. Shunned, he was approached dby Xavier and his X-Men, but was shocked by their brutal treatment of terrified townsfolk. He fled under cover of night, rejecting their teachings, and after years of soul-searching, he is heading to join Magneto and his Brotherhood, hoping to atone for his sins. Dark and brooding, Alex is strangely reckless and prone to a fast temper. He is not a man anyone would want to cross...

WHAT IF'S:
-XAVIER and MAGNETO's roles are reversed, ie: XAVIER is against humanity, Magneto wishes to save it.
-PETER PARKER never rid himself of the symbiote, being consumed by it.
-DAREDEVIL killed the kingpin and took up his position as the crime lord.
-RICK JONES is the HULK, and has almost total control.
-WOLVERINE is stilll under the control of Weapon X.
-Only SANDMAN'S childish side remains from the split.
-BEAST never suffered his further mutation
-VULCAN grew up with his brothers, and is now on MAGNETO'S side.
-MR. IMMORTAL joined the avengers after growing up in New York.
-The Phoenix force inhabbited ROGUE instead, and she ended up joining MAGNETO'S brotherhood of mutants.
-GAMBIT never gained control of his powers and they corrputed him.
-NORMAN OSBORN never went insane, and became the HOBGOBLIN instead.
-BIG BERTHA was self centred until her rejection from society, where she was take in by the brotherhood.
-GHOST RIDER was saved from his deal with Zarathos and bonded with Yeshua and Azrael to become the spirit of redemption and execution.
-TONY STARK made ironmen for the government, whilst keeping the ultimate upgrades for himself.
-When FRANK CASTLE'S family was exectued, he was shot and suffered brain damage which fractured his psyche and distorted his memory and mind.
-ADRIAN TOOMES was a police officer, forced into retirement, upon BLACKI DRAGO'S death, he took his equipment to become the VULTURE and continue fighting crime.
-JEAN GREY was abducted by the Shi'ar as they thought she possesed the phoenix force. However learning she didn't, she was sent to earth to retrieve the one with the phoenix force.
-DOC OCK didn’t become a criminal and worked his way up in SHIELD until he gained control of it. Now he secretly uses SHIELD for his life of crime.
-HAVOC lost control of his powers after running away and killed several people. Atoning for his sins he joined the Brotherhood, although he still has a short temper and is prone to outbursts of anger.
