Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been around or had the time to post onto the thread. Thanks for the patience, and hopefully things will slow down for me.

My father was diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer, and I have been dealing with that and running a family of my own. I have just been able to show up periodically and check up...but haven't had time to post much...hopefully I'm forgiven and I can post more.

The original team of Avengers never thought to form a permenant team, or even to make sure they kept in contact. barrage attacks by Hydra, Ultron, AIM, and other villains to powerful to be handled by a single hero, or even the Fantastic Four, ravage the country. New York is a war zone. fighting on the ground are the Champions, lead by Misty Knight, composed of Luke Cage, Ricochet, Tony Stark (now bankrupt and possessing only one failing suit of armor), and Jamie Madrox. Handling the high-powered threats are the Defenders, Lead by Dr. Strange and Prince Namor. their team holds Thor, sharing the body of the revived Captain America (the Donald Blake avatar was killed), also Dr. Sampson (who possess the power of the Hulk in addition to his own. he was forced to drain Hulk of all his gamma-energy), Mr. Fantastic (who, in an attempt to remove the powers from Ben Grimm, also removed the powers of Johnny and Sue as well, and they were placed into himself), and Captain Universe (Peter Parker gained the Uni-Force, but because of the shape of his world, his sense of conflict never ended, especially after the deaths of Aunt May and MJ).

The X-Men have moved off world and have built a shelter with the Inhumans and are now living side by side on the moon, fighting side by side with the Inhumans to defend earth from extra-terrestrial attacks including the Kree, Skrulls, Shi'ar, and Phoenix.
