I only have one objection to your character GSG, Corrupted Spider-Man took the name venom in the last post but I'll fix that in my intermittent post.

No need for that man. I can simply come up with a different name. Any suggestions?

I'd try to come up with something that would be a reference to the comics.

Steel Spider, perhaps?

By the way, Spideyssuperfan, I'm going to do a TINY bunny of Spider-Carnage in part 2 of my prologue. Eddie is going to hear the police mention Spider-Carnage when he walks near a crime scene. After all, Spider-Carnage has to give birth to Toxin. Plus, this is all told in flashback, so it shouldn't interfere with Spider-Carnage.

Doppleganger? Yeah, that one kinda sucks.

In one What If? Story, Flash is bitten by the radioactive spider and he becomes Captain Spider. But that's kinda cheesy.

So wait, when it says that the FF were never formed, do they still have their powers or did that never happen either?

heres what happened the ff did their trip into space. however when they came back, in one of their first missions together sue storm met Namor and fell in love.

They eloped. since shes unable to live underwater, Namor abandoned his underwater kingdom to live on land which created a power vacuum in atlantis and has lead to Namor and Sue being on the run from atlantean bounty hunters.

Reed became a recluse.

Johnny Storm, became John Storm, the head of Storm industries, and a movie star. Storm industries has become a weapons manufacturer selling to the government. Recently John Storm became the vice-president of the uinted States upon the presidents assasination and the then-vice president asecenion to the higher office.

Ben Grimm is employed by Storm Industries, and John's body guard and enforcer.

Sue was recently kidnapped by an unknown entity, and namor went to John for his help in finding her. Unfotunately, Mastermind had taken over John's Satellites, leaving JOhn essentially blind. Accordingly, John told Namor to disable Mastermind's satellite uplink as this was the only way to find Sue- Namor did so.

Namor is now on his way back to Storm Industries with Nocturne, and Sunspot.

I was planning on Scarlet Spider taking the Iron Spider identity in my next post, but, if you want the steel spider one you can take it.

Personally, I plan on changing the Spider-Man post anyway because it totally defeats the entire point of the what-if?. The what if essentially eliminated Venom by having a corrupt, evil, spider-man.

Personally, I think that the venom route is the absolutely wrong path to take. Let me know if I'm wrong, though.

Also, Chameleon will be making an appearance in the post i'm about to put up. There won't be a what-if attatched to him, and his appearance will be very traditional, so if anyone wants him in the future, it won't be a problem.

That's completely up to you. If you don't want to use the mantle, then I'll take it up simply because it sounds better then Steel Spider. It truly doesn't make any difference to me though.

I think the whole point of the Original Spider-Man what if was that Spider-Man would never be able to rid himself of the symbiote.

I like the idea though.

I don't know...I'm trying to think of another What If? twist, but it isn't coming easily.


Besides which, even if I did Morlun, it would be temporary. I would much rather have a long-term character.


Is the roster going to get cleaned up? I don't want to kick anyone out...but my one idea was What If Hydro-Man and Sandman Never Separated? However, we already have a Sandman.
