WHAT IF? MARVEL RPG SIGN-UP FORM

Character you would like to play: Mr. Immortal

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English:
Powers: Craig Hollis is incapable of dying. at the point where a normal person would die, his body is completely and fully healed, and refreshed. his "ressurections" are often accompanied by bouts of violence and rage, but he is easily calmed. He is also an Olympic Level athlete. Craig is also guarded by Deathurge, servant of Oblivion

in the 616: Craig Hollis was born and raised in Milwauki wisconson. He was raised by his father as his mother died in child birth. His mother managed to cause Deathurge to promise to watch over her child. Deathurge soon became young Craig's imaginary friend, inspiring Craig to dangerous feats of "Fun" that became more and more risky until, without intending to, Craig burned his house down with his father inside of it by playing with matches underneath the porch. He was adopted by an abusive father and fell in love with his adoptive sister. they grew up and Craig stopped playing with Deathurge, who became disregarded as a childhood imaginary friend (Called D'urge). when, as adults, His love committed suicide, Craig attempted to follow after, and at that point discovered his power after numerous and varied attempts to end his life.

Craig went on to found the Great Lakes Avengers, fall in love again with his teammate, Dinah Soar, and fall into another bout of suicidal depression when she was killed. he captured Deathurge when the servant came to collect the soul of Monkey-Joe (A new GLA'er). That was when Deathurge told him everything about his destiny (that he would be the last living being in the universe).

my What If: What If Craig Hollis were in New York City?
Craig was adopted by the same family but they moved to New York City after they left his adoptive father's house. His love still commited suicide, and he still discovered his powers in the same way, but he tries one final way of killing himself: suicide by cop. He vaults the Avenger's mansion gates and provokes them into a fight, firing a gun at them, with descent accuracy. Even when he dives head first into one of Hawkeye's arrows, he still is brought back by destiny. he weeps and explains his situation to the Avengers who decide to take him in. Craig lives in the Mansion, training with Hawkeye and Mockingbird. he eventually becomes a fair hand to hand fighter. He becomes an Avenger.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

2. can't be killed, but has every other normal human limitation

3. he should be able to sling boot with the best of them

-XAVIER and MAGNETO's roles are reversed, ie: XAVIER is against humanity, Magneto wishes to save it.

-PETER PARKER never rid himself of the symbiote, being consumed by it.

-DAREDEVIL killed the kingpin and took up his position as the crime lord.

-RICK JONES is the HULK, and has almost total control.

-WOLVERINE is stilll under the control of Weapon X.

-Only SANDMAN'S childish side remains from the split.

-BEAST never suffered his further mutation

-VULCAN grew up with his brothers, and is now on MAGNETO'S side.

-MR. IMMORTAL joined the avengers after growing up in New York.

Powers: Ashley Crawford can add an undetermined amount of "super-Bulk" to her body to increase her strength and durability. obviously by adding a large amount to her body, she is like the blob in all ways but one: mobility. she has shown time and again that she is agile even in her bulked up state, and has even executed "Hulk-like" leaps as her primary means of transportation. her powers are mutant in origin. to remove the excess poundage from her form she must actually purge them through her mouth (vomit them) causing her powers to have a sick resemblence to the eating disorder "bulimia". In her non "bulked" form she is extremely attractive.

616: due to her ability to control the fat on her body, and her very attactive face, Ashely works as a super-model. she has had to, during numerous occassions, refuse offers and jobs in exotic locals because of her affiliations with the Great Lakes Avengers. She is their major financeer and probably their most powerful member.

What If: when Mr. Immortal did not form the GLA, Ashley did not become a hero, and she became very antsy, desiring a more adventurous life style. when a fashion shoot she was on in New York came under attack, she transformed and helped the heroes stop them. However, mutant status having been revealed she was fired and black listed. there was however, one group that accepted her The Brotherhood of Mutants, lead by Magneto (I'm using the accumulated What If's here).

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. Big Bertha is awsome and deserves some love

2. She is stated many times as having the potential to be a world famous model

3. she can obviously make herself able to fight with the best of the super-strengths

What can you bring to this game?

your reasons are the same as mr immortal and the X-men are evil and led by Xavier, Magneto runs the brotherhood of mutants, who want to be equal and co-exist with mutants and humans.

her power to absorb life force, memories, and powers is slightly different. the life force she absorbs enhances her strength, permenantly. the phoenix force chooses Rogue, rather than Jean Grey and Rogue's fractured psyche causes the phoenix's consiousness to remain dormant while it fixes her mind, thus putting off the rise of the destructive phoenix.

Rogue, knocked out and separated after a X-men mission, is given a transfusion of Gamma irradiated blood which fundamentally alters her. her draining powers come under control, but her hulk-powers are not. she is the jekyll and hyde is one (since Rick Jones' is under control)

Well, Bruce never was or never will be Hulk in this continuity. So She-Hulk wouldn't exsist unless it was some of Rick's kin.

She absorbs the life forces of those whose skin contacts hers. She sees this as more of a curse than a gift, understandably. She joins Magneto's Brotherhood after a nefarious relationship with Mystique, who used her for her powers and left her wit a rather unstable psyche. She has to train harder than the others in hand to hand due to her reluctance to use her powers, so becomes quite skilled.

What If: Rogue never absorbed Ms Marvel and the phoenix force chose to inhabit her instead of Jean.
