Well, this may be extremely bad timing considering the two posts above me, but... I'm gonna have to drop out of the RPG. I've got way too many characters that I can barely keep up with as it is, and it isn't right for me to hog Spider-Man away if I'm not gonna play him.

It was fun while it lasted. I wish this RPG the best.

i was going to post a new scarlet spider post, but i guess i need to think of a what if. Or i guess I could control spider-man and play the arc through exactly as I had planned, but its really up to the mods of the thread if they're willing to let me take on 3 characters.

How about this Spidey. Since he is having a part in your Tony story, why don't you just NPC Spider-Man for now, and then if someone wants to use him, they just have to run off of what's been done so far.

I would hate to see what you had planned go to waste...it's interesting.

Screen Name: Apprentice

Character you would like to play: Spider-Man/peter Benjamin Parker

Powers and a brief description of the character in proper English: Peter is gifted with abilities in proportion to that of, essentially, a human spider. This grants him the power of wall-crawling, superhuman speed, agility, strength, and endurance, as well as a "spider-sense" that warns him of impedning danger. The symbiote that he now possesses enhances all these abilities to a greater degree, and allows him to take bullets unharmed, alter his appearance, and produce organic webbing.

Peter Parker used to be one of the greatest heroes of all time. Forged by the combination of a radioactive spider bite and a hard life lesson to endure, He went onto become a superhero called the Amazing Spider-Man. However, during a galactic level war, his costume was torn, so he was given a new one in the form of a mysterious black orb. The orb crawled onto him, making his costume turn into a black and white alienistic substance. Peter revelled in the power it gave him... But unknown to him, the costume was taking over his mind. Now, he's not one of the greatest heroes of all time. Now... he's something else entirely.

Three reasons why you have chosen that character:

1. My favourite Marvel character. EVER. I think I understand his character well.

2. I love the idea of a slightly psychotic Spidey...

3. He's freaking Spider-Man!

What can you bring to this game? I hope to bring an entertaining, well-portrayed character.

I was thinking of applying to play as Spidey, since he is ultimately the root of every character I play in every RPG... but when it comes down to it, I'm not sure if I'd be willing to give up Vulture or Ock. I'm very immersed in all my characters... I've never dropped a character before in any RPG. They're like my little babies. My little fictional babies. And I'm not a fictional abortionist. Or a real abortionist for that matter. But that's neither here nor there...

Listen, guys, I must apologise for my conduct in this RPG. I've been dropping characters left, right, and centre, and I feel really bad as I'm doing a discredit to the game, and to all of you. I rush into applications when I get a cool idea, and then I just can't go any further with them - I try to run when I can't walk. I realise that it could've disrupted other players if my old characters had been interacting with anyone, and this won't happen again here. I'm sticking with Havok, and if I get Spidey, him. If I don't, then Jean.

I've really wanted Spider-Man since I first learned of the game and my heart sank as soon as I learned I couldn't take him on. You want him quite a bit, and as such I wouldn't want you to feel the same way I did at the start of the game.

Therefore, the decision will not be made by me. I'd ask the other posters on the forum:

Do you guys think I can take on a third character? Base it solely on my posts. I can post everyday, and I'll keep the continuity.

App, I'm leaving it up to everyone in the thread cause I don't want you to dislike me if I decided to take spidey (which I would have if left to my own resources).

Oh, and new Scarlet Spider post up. He's headed for Stark Tower, and he'll eventually meet up with stark. Possibly becoming Iron Scarlet Spider?
