True. If I go through with it, I'll think of a way to get him a partner. Hell, I might make him an undercover cop. But, that'd too much like Ult. Crispus.

There I am again to note that right now, Apprentice is using Montoya in his Rachel Dawes arc. An in-character reason for the switch from Bullock to Allen can easily be made though.

By the by, I have considered Montoya at times for a character. But I don't feel right playing a character that I don't know - outside of Wikipedia.

Question about Gotham Central. In terms of other Batmans, where does it fit in? Is it its own comic, or a branch off of the regular Batman?

It's it's own comic, but it makes mention to other Batman and DC events (War Games, Infinite Crisis) in passing.

It's good, just be prepared. Batman is only seen a half dozen times, there's no Gordon. The majority of the series is seen through either Marcus Driver, Renee Montoya, or Crispus Allen's view.

I've only ever read one issue of Gotham Central. I dug it up this afternoon, it was #23 and a tie-in to War Games (that's why I bought it). I really enjoyed reading through it again, and I especially like the scene where Allen killed Black Spider.

Yeah, that's Corrigan Part One. Corrigan Part Two, and the whole Corrigan II arc are fantastic.
