"Gotham City Noir" RPG Guest Star Application
Screen Name: Eddie Brock Jr.
Character Name/Given Name(s): Clark Joseph Kent
City of residence: (What city does the character come from?) Metropolis, KS
Resume: (Bio) Clark is a farmboy by nature. He was raised by Jonathan and Martha Kent in the little town of Smallville, Kansas. As Clark got older, he decided to travel the world to find his own identity. It was during these trips that he discovered his true passion - journalism. Upon returning home, Clark packed up his things and moved to Metropolis. He is the low man on the totem pole at Metropolis's most prestigious newspaper, The Daily Planet.
Occupation: Reporter
Known associates: (NPCs) Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Perry White
Anything else you'd like to declare?: (Factoids of interest) With Clark, what you see is what you get. He's simply a mild-mannered reporter with a major crush on his fellow journalist. She'll never acknowledge him, though, as she's attracted more to the strong, silent type.
What are your plans and reasons for coming to Gotham?: (The three reasons and character motivations in one question) Clark and Lois are in Gotham to investigate a number of things for the Planet - among these are the corruption in the GCPD, Harvey Dent's campaign for DA, and the notorious figure known only as The Batman.

Please provide a small sample post, in the format you plan to portray this identity, with three paragraphs at minimum:
Lois powerwalks off the plane into Gotham City International Airport. Bumbling behind her, I struggle to keep pace. Lois is a woman of ambition - and when she has her mind set to something, there's nothing on Earth that can stop her.
"How are you doing back there, Smallville?" Lois asks arbitrarily.
I drop my suitcase and double-back to pick it up. "Not too well, Lois!" I admit. I'm having a hard time seeing her through the crowd.
"You want to get ahead in the Planet? You need to learn that the stories don't wait," she explains condescendingly. I don't take any offense by it. Lois is naturally...rough-around-the-edges if you don't know her. "To be honest, I didn't want to babysit you on this trip, but Perry forced you to tag along."
I mumble, "Well...I'm glad to be here."
Lois turns around for a second. "Did you say something, Smallville?" she asks.
I shake my head. I then proceed to stare at my feet as we continue to walk briskly.
"Ok then. Less talkie, more walkie!"
Lois can't see it, but I'm smirking.
