CD Projeckt Red The Witcher 3

I've had this game since release and whenever I've had the chance to play it, I know I'm never going to get far in the main story. And with Arkham Knight out in a couple days (which will become my priority), it will be a long time till this is finished.

I ******* love this game.

I'm still curious, is there a way to reject Triss but still make her part of my crew at Kaer Mohren?

She will be a part of your crew in KM regardless. In the worst case, she will be invited there by Yennefer.

This weeks DLC:

Holy ********'s, did the [BLACKOUT]Battle of Kaer Morhen[/BLACKOUT] last night and the follow up mission, that was two of the best missions I have played in any game ever, great set up, awesome action and cut scenes but some real touching moments as well, epic in every way.

This is the Game of Thrones of video games, just leaves me with my jaw on the floor so often.

Nothing will surpass this, lol, well not for some time I doubt.

While waiting for all the free DLC to come out, i'll play some Witcher 2 again! =)

Not too bad I guess, her default look is pretty bland so any sort of change is a welcome change.

The new mission is short but quite interesting. Has some potential bigger world impact on the Witcher school world if you read the note and also depending on what you decide to do in the mission of course.

I think I may finally finish this tonight after what seems like an epic amount of time spent playing. Then I feel a large post the next day coming on, gushing about how awesome the whole thing is and how its one of the best games ever blah blah blah....

So apologies in advance for that. :oldrazz:

Fingers crossed I get a fitting end to my experience. ;nd

Well after 180 glorious hours the credits have finally rolled on this epic. I enjoyed every second of it from beginning to end, so many great moments. Yes there are a few things that could be improved (nowt is perfect in this world) but the good things are so many that the bad pale almost into insignificance. Has to go down as one of my all time favourite games and consider it one of the best ever made among the likes of Red Dead Redemption, Zelda Ocarina of Time, Mass Effect and Metal Gear Solid. The world they have created is staggering and immersive, the work gone into it is all there to see.

I shall do a quick list of some my fave/awesome moments that I encountered along the way. I shall spoiler them so as not to spoil anything for those that may not have finished it yet, I wouldnt want anyone to ruin some of the surprises in this for anyone.

- Weather effects such as wind and rain have never been better
- The Bloody Baron whole string of questlines
- Atmosphere of different areas such as the bog and dense woodlands
- The Battle of Kaer Morhen
- Epic boss fights with Imlerith and Caranthir
- Drinking quest with Lambert and Eskel
- "Summon the B*****'s"
- Zoltan is a bro
- "Crimson ***hole"
- Every moment between Ciri and Geralt was touching
- Gwent, gwent and more gwent
- Pracillas song
- Cardinal Sins quest

There were plenty more I have probably forgotten but these spring to mind for now.

In short a 10/10 game if ever there was one.

Yea I was waiting on that patch to start my Death March play through. I started it last night and so far it doesnt seem that difficult. I mean sure, a level 4 drowner killed my ass, but thats because i zigged when i shoulda zagged.

Its funny though, im literally replaying the game just for the increased difficulty and to experience the story again. I have no plans of altering any choices i made previously as I was so happy with how everything turned out.

Good thing I bought a 1 tb harddrive for my PS4. :b

So, the final of the 16 DLC is on the way. It won't be this week, though, but I think it'll be worth the wait.

I think this might be a sign for some of the more cynical gamers who believe CDPR had ripped out content just to give back to us. None of the Witcher games have ever had New Game + before, and people have been asking for a New Game + mode since it was released, and I think the community manager has been fielding questions and requests about it since then too.

I mean, it's not proof or anything. But, CDPR has never given me any reason to doubt them, and the updates they've made have made it clear that they are indeed listening to player feedback.
